What version of Grid2 are you using?

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  Reloading in a raid 
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?

  No bc I'm in my raid right now

Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one?

Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).

 When I enter a raid/dungeon the "raid debuff" option is resetting to "BFA...Legion" off of "auto detect." When I put it on auto detect it works....but if I reload or have any load screen it resets again.

Working as intended, autodetect option is disabled when the UI is reloaded. This option was not designed to be enabled all the time.

How do I get my debuffs to always show/track then? Or am I just SOL & have to reopen/reselect every time I enter the instance?

This option is used to collect the raid debuffs, so you only need to use it once per encounter, after the debuffs are collected (and you can see the Debuffs in the Debuffs Tab) you don't need to keep the option enabled.

After the debuffs are collected you can go to the debuffs tab and configure the debuffs according to the combat strategy and your role (changing priorities or removing debuffs you really don't want to take care, etc.). So reenabling the autodetect option usually is not a good idea because could change the debuffs configuration (for example re-applying removed debuffs).

Instead of using the autodetect option, you can simply go to Raid Debuffs -> General Tab and Check the "Battle for Azeroth" option, this option will add the debuffs to the raid debuffs configuration. Then you can see&configure the instances&debuffs in the "Debuffs" Tab.

Another posibility: if you simply want to see the raid debuffs without any futher setup, because you don't want/need to micro-manage the combat debuffs configuration you dont need to use raid debuffs, goto:

Statuses->Debuffs->Right panel

Create a "Debuffs" type status, link this new status to icon-center indicator, and in the status configuration check"Boss Debuffs" filter (and uncheck other filters), in this way you will see the important boss debuffs (the debuffs blizzard think are relevant for every combat) , without any further config.
