I want to make some 'solid border light fill' type of color indicators, only to find that no Use Status Color option exists for square indicator. Please add this if convenient, thx!
I dont understand what you mean. The indicator already uses the status color to paint the square. If you paint the border with the same color than the inside, you have a bigger square with no border.
Maybe do you want to paint the border of the square with another color provided by a different status ? This is not possible, and it has no sense, a square indicator only has one active status.
What yo can do is to use the "Swap Color" option to invert the colors of the border/interior, in this way the status color is used to paint the border instead of the interior of the square. Then you can assign a full transparent color to the interior of the square, and maybe use another square indicator without border assigned to another status and placed in the same position.
Hmm, I do want the ability to paint border and square with the same color, but I'm not gonna set them to the same alpha level, so no worries about bigger square with no border. I just want to try and see whether it would make the indicator look nicer.
You are getting the gist of it by suggesting using two indicators to do so, but it's way more complicated in configuration compared to what I figured.
Sorry, this feature is too specific.
