So, I can't get the predicted heals from other players to work with grid2. I have LibHealComm 4.0 ( https://www.wowace.com/projects/libhealcomm-4-0 ) [ v1.7.2 classic ].
Here are my settings for the "heals" indicator: https://i.imgur.com/yIQTGNh.png

It shows my predicted heals in the raid frames, but I don't see other players. I had a warlock lifetap low, and asked healer friends to heal them and nothing would show up.
I'd really like to get this sorted out, thank you!
did your healer friends install libhealcomm-4 ? All healers must install libhealcomm library or an addon compatible with healcomm.
You can install a more recent version of Grid2 too, most recent version is r942-beta-classic
Yea, that was the issue. Sorry for not closing the ticket earlier. The healers I asked to help check probably did not have any unit frames.
I do have a question before I close the thread, does grid2 come with a universal "library" or "api" that communicates data with other libhealcomm addons such as voodoo, healbot, and even stuff like SUF? So if I have Grid2 and bob has Healbot, it will work?
Thanks!
Libhealcomm-4 is the library that communicates data, and this library is already included in Grid2 so usually It's not necessary to install the standalone libhealcomm library.
The only reason to install the standalone library is if you use the standard/blizzard raid frames, or if you need a most recent version of the library to fix some important bug or crash detected in the library (when the same library is installed twice, for example the standalone libhealcom library and the libhealcom library included in Grid2, only the most recent version is loaded and used).
So now I have two more questions.
1) I can cause crashes by having both Grid2 + LibHealComm-4
2) Do you know all the popular raid frames that contain libhealcomm-4 (healbot, vuhdo), and even some popular UI stuff like SUF, ElvUI, the forked ElvUI (Luna?)
1) No crashes, libraries are designed to work in this way, a lot of addons can (and usually ) include the same library but only one library is really used (the most recent version installed).
2) I am not monitoring all available raid frames, i only know some raid frames.
Thank you for all the help Michaelsp!
