What version of Grid2 are you using?
r943-classic
What game client version (windows or mac) and language are you using?
Latest Classic WoW version, Windows 7 64-bit
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Create a raid group. Move another player to group 2 so there is a space in group 1. Grid2 only takes into account player order and will not leave an empty frame where there is an empty slot, leading to confusion.
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?
No, but it shouldn't be necessary.
Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one?
Unknown, but doubtful.
Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).
No, error logs are not relevant.
Please provide any additional information below.
Groups are important to keep in mind in Classic WoW. I would like to see empty frames added for empty slots in a raid group, so your UI will consistently place groups in the same position once you have it set up. I also wouldn't mind text saying "Group X" above each group, like how the Blizzard raid frames do it. On a related note, I would like to be able to duplicate the frames of players with an assigned role (main tank, etc.) and put them in a separate column, like how the Blizzard raid frames allow you to. Other than these complaints, I am loving the addon.
Simply change the layout, "By Group" layout works in this way.
No, currently, if you have fewer than 40 players in your raid and there are gaps, there will not be an empty space in the grid where those gaps are. It can be difficult to tell where one group ends and another begins in this case.
