What version of Grid2 and game type (classic or retail) are you using ?
1-1-14, Retail
What game client version (windows or mac) and language are you using ?
Windows
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1) Go to Debuffs -> Raid Debuffs -> Check "Enable Autodetection."
2) Relog, or /reloadui and the option will no longer be checked
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?
No
Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one?
Unsure
Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).
Does not appear to throw any lua errors.
Working as intended.
Oh. Is there any particular reason for not saving that choice? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding the feature?
EDIT: Actually, I don't think that checkbox is what I was looking for. I had checked on Shadowlands as an enabled raid debuffs module, but for some reason wasn't actually getting any of them. But, now I am. I even double-checked before putting in a ticket haha. All well. Closing.
Autodetect was designed to collect the debuffs once, not to be enabled all the time. Debuffs Autodetect and classification code is in Grid2Options addon (not in Grid2 main addon) so when you reload the UI, Grid2Options is not loaded so the option cannot work.
Shadowlands module should work fine, after enabling the module go to "Debuff Configuration" tab select "Shadowlands" module and verify that all debufs are enabled for each instance/raid (green confirm icon on each debuff name), if this is not the case you can click the "Enable All" button for each instance to enable the debuffs.
If you want a more straightforward/simple method to track the debuffs, you can goto to Debuffs/Right panel , and create a "Debuffs" status, this status display all debuffs by default but you can apply some filters to hide some debuffs categories (like self debuffs, non boss debuffs, etc or use a blacklist).
Ohh okay. Thanks for the extra info. For some reason it being a check box made me think it was something that needed to load every time the game started up haha. Yup, got everything working as intended now! Thanks.
