Is there a way to set the opacity of the text to 1 with the opacity of the bars to another level ? 

Depends of your setup. The opacity is managed by the color assigned to the indicator, so you can assign a semitransparent color to the status linked to the bar color.

But If you want a semitransparent bar only when the unit is out of range, you have to link the range status to the bar color (and set a semitransparent color in the "range" status options), but in this case you cannot colorize the bars by class color.
