What version of Grid2 and game type (classic or retail) are you using ? Retail - ver v1.1.21
What game client version (windows or mac) and language are you using ? Windows
What steps will reproduce the problem? Someone in the raid/party goes offline.
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled? yes
Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one? can't remember.
Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).
Please provide any additional information below.
Simply the online status or offline status isn't working properly, and I been noticing this for a very long time. Where a person who is offline for good 3-4 mins and yet on the grid2 shows as if he's online but out of range alpha.
So many times I am in a raid and someone say "XXX is offline" and I tell no he's not, he's here, then by clicking on his frame I can see the tooltip that he's offline, but shows online but away from range on grid2.
And to make sure that it isn't a blizzard problem I have two addons who are grid like addons on side by side, the other grid addon shows him as offline, but on grid2 shows as away of range. yet the guy is offline, this doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes. I dont know what triggers this.
Oh and today someone who is online, it shows him as offline for 10secs, then he appeared online. but I asked him and he was never offline.

There is no way to 100% fix this issue, because the game does not provide accurate information.
Interesting that you say that and on the same time I enabled three different grid addons that I wont name, the two other ones were providing a correct information of who's actually offline. So I don't know, maybe they have a different way of coding it. Good chance that they figure a smart code which shows exactly who's online and who's offline. But I am not a coder, so who knows.
