HandyNotes

Handy Notes for your maps. This addon is intended to be a small and simple framework for showing notes on your map.

Use /handynotes to access options.

You can add notes to the maps in 3 ways:

Alt-RightClick on the world map to add a note.
Use "/hnnew" without the quotes to add a note at your current location.
Use "/hnnew x,y" without the quotes to add a note at location x,y on your current zone's map.

And flightmaster's doesn't shown in northrend on german realm.

That's a HandyNotes_Directions error. Not a HandyNotes one. Contact appropriate author instead.

As for HandyNotes_FlightMasters, it hasn't been updated to include Northrend data yet.

When I alt+click to add a note, it appears beneath the Blizzard map, you have to click then close the map to be able to add a note.

Is there any way to add a note at a specified coordinate?

somebody make a mining/herbing/gas cloud/fishing etc gathering plugin for this. the cartographer ones are discontinued, i hacked mining and fishing to show nodes in northrend with generic icons but herbing and gas cloud are incomplete, but i'd rathor stop hacking discontinued addons and use something that's actively maintained :)

There is indeed a GatherMate_CartImport. You will need to run both Cartographer and GatherMate to do this import, then you can disable/delete Cartographer.

Does this allow you to share notes with other party members? If not, does anyone know of a map note addon that will allow this?

The simple answer is, alt-rightclick on the map.

This, however, doesn't work while hovering built-in objects on the map, including the arrow indicating your position - making it rather hard to place a custom note by hand at an exact position.

So I have to ask, too: Is there a _command_ to create a note at your current position?

Um, is this all inclusive or do we have to download ALL handynotes to get this to work???

I downloaded this and logged on. I make sure it's checked then I log on toon and nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

When I had Cartogroaher this mod was fantastic!

It's an addon to put notes on your map. It doesn't have any pre-built database of notes; so you have to make yours.
