How about a way to import, maybe via a textbox, TomTom waypoint macros. The kind that you see linked in WoW related posts quite a bit. Normally you would use TomTom as a temporary direction indicator but more and more you are seeing people posting locations for spawns and such. A simple textbox that we can paste the macros that we find into and hit enter. Most come with a name and description in the macro but any that didn't could just be left blank to allow us to enter a title and description.
For example in the current Tillers rep grind we have multiple NPCs. A macro that was posted to work with TomTom is great but not as good as a HandyNote entry. Here is an example of a macro that was posted into a forum listing Tiller NPCs:
/way Valley of the Four Winds 53.6 52.6 Jogu the drunk - Sauteed Carrots - Lovely Apple/way Valley of the Four Winds 48.3 33.8 Farmer Fung - Wildfowl Roast - Marsh Lily/way Valley of the Four Winds 31.5 58.1 Ella - Shrimp Dumplings - Jade Cat/way Valley of the Four Winds 53.2 51.8 Gina Mudclaw - Swirling Mist Soup - Marsh Lily/way Valley of the Four Winds 41.7 30.0 Fish Fellreed - Twin Fish Platter - Jade Cat/way Valley of the Four Winds 29.5 30.6 Sho - Eternal Blossom Fish - Lovely Apple/way Valley of the Four Winds 30.9 53.1 Old Hillpaw - Braised Turtle - Blue feather/way Valley of the Four Winds 45.1 33.8 Tina Mudclaw - Fire Spirit Salmon - Ruby Shard/way Valley of the Four Winds 34.4 46.8 Chee Chee - Valley Stir Fry - Blue Feather/way Valley of the Four Winds 44.6 34.1 Haohan Mudclaw - Charbroiled Tiger Steak - Ruby Shard
To be able to open the HandyNotes config and paste that into a textbox and hit "parse" would be awesome. Just an idea and should not be too hard to implement from a coding standpoint I believe. If I had more time I would just do this myself.
