If you shut down the game "hard" (like closing game process by Task-manager in windows), all data, stored during your game without logouts, will be reseted. So, having now much laggs in Icecrown Citadels, or other 25-ppl raids, game starts just "hang-up" sometimes, so only Ctrl+Alt+Delete can save me, but all the raids from last loguot will be lost...
Can you create some save-mechanic, for manual or automatically saving the information during the raids ? It can solve such a big problim, like questions to 25 ppl, who byed loot in raid yesterday & for how much dkp =)
you can always make another addon that supports some kind of backup database that is stored on another player that is in the raid or guild, this would prevent lose of data, you would have to sync it to the master database.
I cannot tell you how many times this has SCREWED me in the past, but the problem lies in how WoW deals with its addon database and variables. It doesn't actually save them until you cleanly quit from WoW. Now, I am in the habit of pasting out the results BEFORE I leave the raid zone. To do that, you need to end the current raid. Yes, Headcount will start a new one, and it isn't the cleanest mechanic, but it works. This is definitely something I want to address, but until all of the current raid issues are handled, I cannot even look at it. :(
There is an addon called CashProofer.
It sync the data to another player, but for me it is to hard to understand how to setup this with HeadCount.
