*** Overview - Describe the feature from an end-user perspective.Be able to export (EQDKP/XML/text/etc) for a single boss during the raid.
*** Functionality - Describe the feature from a development perspective.- Be able to export the boss after defeating- Only export the loot from that boss- Only export attendees from that boss- Export misc from that boss- Export will of course be setting depended (EQDKP/XML/text/etc)
*** Notes - Is there any additional information to provide regarding this feature?Export button could be added next besides the boss-name when viewing the raid-result.
*** Use cases - How would a user make use of this feature? This way DKP can be updated on the fly during the raid without waiting for the raid to end.
This enhancement request will be accepted, but on low priority for the time being. This is more difficult to manage from an export standpoint because the active raid is not finalized.
Active raids are not allowed to be exported because the data within them is incomplete until the raid is finalized (the raid ends and the addon does data cleanup to set empty time data values).
One possible hack would be to include a custom export for boss kills only with time values artificially filled either by setting all times to the current activity time or setting the ending time to be equivalent to the starting time to allow for this functionality.
This needs additional investigation to see if this is possible especially for EQdkp export string functionality before moving forward with this.
This kind of export would also be very valuable after the raid is closed.
One other thing. Export of entire raid doesn't include attendence at boss and that info is available in the GUI. I currently use Raid Tracker to get this info exported. It would be very good to add this to phpBB export.
Would it be possible for now to at least add the ability to export individual bosses after the raid is complete? Then you don't have to worry about the data still being incomplete.
