HealPoints
HealPoints is a healer gear benchmark addon similar to TankPoints for tanks. It is designed to make it easier for healers to choose the most optimal gear, balancing
- Intelligence
- Mana Regen
- Spirit
- Spell Power
- Crit Rating
- Spell Haste
It displays all your relevant basic stats as well as HP/sec
, HP/mana
, etc. for all your healing spells. It also displays a few more advanced benchmarks:
- PowerPoints: focused on healing output over a short period
- EndurancePoints: focused on healing output over a long period
HealPoints detects and supports all relevant talents and almost all set and equip bonuses.
You can view your current HealPoints by typing:
/hp calc
Your HealPoints, PowerPoints and Endurance points will also be displayed on your paperdoll.
If you have a LibDataBroker feed view (e.g. TitanPanel) then you will see:
- a feed containing your current HealPoints
- a tooltip showing the value of relative stats
HealPoints contains a calculator that lets you manipulate the basic stats and see how they affect your spells and overall healing efficiency.
I wish there was a way I could test HealPoints on German clients :-( What did you do to get the error? Is it on startup or when examining items or?
I've made too many changes to BonusScanner to make it possible to use 1.2.
Casting regen/5s being 0 is probably related to the error you got.
Blessing of Wisdom isn't detected. I haven't found out how to do it reliably. Use the calculator to add the effect if you like to.
Illumunation is supported.
I get it on startup. I've tried to put the german localization file(bonusscaner) into the folder, but it didn't help :/
Try the new 2.4 version just released. The bug should be fixed there.
with 2.4 I just got this one:
Error: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil) AddOn: HealPoints File:bonusscanner.lua Line:197 Error number:1
(german client)
perhaps you should use bonusscaner 1.2? +heal is shown ingame, but the casting regen/5s is always 0 Blessing of Wisdom isn't counted, too. Did you include the fact, that a Paladin gets his mana back when he has just critted? (Talent: Illumination)
it's work perfectly for my shaman, but i enountered an error when i starts play a paladin. everytime i press c to see the char's profile, an error message displaed like this:
charui.lua:31:attempt to index local 'powerspell' (a nil value)
i don't know much about the program code, can you fix it?
I'm not sure I understand... Can't you use the calculator to temporarily add potion effects? 'that you cannot change yourself' um... what?
Would be great if you could get an option for potions that you cannot change yourself. A decent tool to screen new applications to the guild.
Hehe, I have more than enough with HealPoints.
Need this for Spelldmg!! Would'nt even have to be this big; only calculate Spelldamag Points upon a reasonable comparison formula. I'm not good enough at scripting yet to do it myself :-(
Thanks - looks like the site has what I need to update the German localizations.

For the german translations, you could visit >> www.buffed.de
Not sure what I can do if there's no error message. I have the English version of the game and can't test the French version.
You can try to delete the settings file. WTF\Account\(accountname)\(servername)\(charname)\SavedVariables\HealPoints.lua Quit the game before you delete this file.
No, there's no error messsages displayed.
Any error messages?
Another thing to fix in next version :
With 2.3 there's no HP values in french game :'(
It's on my list of things to fix in the next version.
hi, vitality enchant on boots adds 4mp5, this enchant is not consider right now.
The exact German text on all gems...
I usually use Allakhazam to get this, but only English is available so far. See for example http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=24060&locale=deDE compared to http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=24060&locale=enUS;source=live
What do you need for a German localisation of the bonus detection of gems and so on?
Later this week. Edit: Out now
If your lvl 70 is a paladin, there's a fix a few posts down.
