Zoom bar to show auto-zoom activity? #66

    What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
    All I seek is some sort of slider or meter that moves as the auto-zoom goes in and out.  It was rather disorientating attempting to discern if a marker was moving or the zoom was changing.  As for look, I don't have anything in particular in mind.  It just has to show that the zoom is changing.  It could even just be an up or a down arrow that appears just to show that it's changing with no references to how zoomed in or out the display is.

    Please provide any additional information below.
