Ingela's Absorb Tracker

Description

Ingela's Absorb Tracker is an addon that tracks the current absorb amount on your target.

It currently tracks:

Power Word: Shield
Divine Aegis
Illuminated Healing
Blood Shield
Sacred Shield
Ice Barrier
Guarded by the Light

Still not sure what to do about Savage Defense.

Ingela's Absorb Tracker also have Tank mode which makes the addons to see only your own current absorbs. Useful if you're a tank and need to time cooldowns with absorbs!

Ingame commands are /at or /absorbtracker

To do:

Find out what to do about Savage Defense.
~~Maybe add some kind of animation to know when it changes~~ done
Add so it shows when you mouse over something
Check list to enable/disable which spellIDs you want to be tracked.

I use the mouse-over feature, and i was wondering it you would add an option to have the text show up at the mouse when you mouse over someone?

Is it ok to modify the code or do I have to put in a request for change? Would love to have Living Seed tracked as well as Savage Defense.

I have a local copy that is working for these absorbs. Wasn't sure what your copyright license terms are. Thanks!

Hrmm, I would really like it if it would have an option to format the text like "12K" instead of "12387".

Would find it really useful if you could track absorbs of different targets at once. I use this right now while tanking to keep track of my own absorbs. Would be nice if i could also track my Focus target which usually is my co-tank.

You should ask the author of the droodfocus addon, he was able to map out the SD absorb vaule.

does this addon now tracking SWING_MISSING with argument 12 = "ABSORB" and argument 13 = absorbed damage instead pre 4.2 SPELL_AURA_REFRESH ?

Very nice addon! The only working addon for ice barrier. Why not adding support for mana shield, too? Ive tried it by myselve... but it seems, that im not good enough in such coding things. My shield show allways 0.

I've been looking for an addon like this, so thanks for writing it. Is there any way we can get some more visual options to go along with the text? Like an actual box or background for the number, and perhaps some color options for the text and the background. I just have a white number floating on my screen that I'm sure will get lost in a ground effect without a contrasting background. If I really had my wish I'd also have it flash (just a little) when it changes.

Can you add the ability to track both Mana Shield and Mage Ward? I solo as a Fire Mage and pop these two first before entering combat and they help out a lot. I don't want to keep refreshing MS if there's still some absorption left when it's off cooldown.

I'm developing my own AddOn and I'm planning on releasing it to the public. My AddOn also tracks absorb values. I used some of your code as inspiration(to be more specific, the tooltip scanning) but I have altered it afterwards.

Can I have your permission to release it (your license forces me to do so) and/or maintain my AddOn?

Will Tankmode track the effect from glyphed Stoneclaw Totem on Shamans?
