Raid Tracker

Table of Contents

Keeps account of attendance, loot and DKP for raids, parties, battlegrounds, arenas and now solo for questing.

Works with SexyMaps, Minimap Button Frame, Titan Panel, FuBar, and others for easy access menus, and a minimap icon if no other manager or bar is installed. Provides export strings for DKP for most popular DKP posting formats. Supports loot filtering via loot options window /rt io, or on the minimap menu.

 Chat commands:
  /rt      - main window
  /rt o    - options
  /rt io   - item options
  /rt help - help
  /rt hide - hide or show the application icon

Curse site release updates are working normally again. Raid Tracker, Hellbender DKP, Tell Track, AddOn Studio. Use links to get files same as before. Enjoy.

Ver iodd as wel the game would delete it. Make a Blank file there with the same name, if it gets deleted that thats bad, and not the plugin.

Im not sure whats wrong to be honest. If you NEVER get a RaidTracker.lua file in the WTF, then something is very wrong. Its possible that your directory cant be written to and nothign to do wiht wow or RaidTracker. While logged out of wow, open the AddOns/RaidTracker/Data.lua file, change the DebugMode to 1 instead of 0. Make sure you stil dont have a WTF RaidTracker.lua file, then log in. Tell me what you see.

i get this error too

and i have a RaidTracker.lua in my SavedVariables ^^

it seems like the tracker is working, but i always get the msg "too many errors from addon's <deactivate> <ignore>" and if i activate the LUA messenges it spams me with this error from RaidTracker.lua :/

Ok under the wow/WTF/Account/SavedVariables/... there is no file called RaidTracker.lua
Could that be causing the constant error message I am receiving. and if so can I simply copy and paste the RaidTracker.lua from wow/Interface/Addons/RaidTracker/... into the SavedVariables folder to fix the problem?

Adding the RaidTracker.lua to SavedVariables folder from the RaidTracker folder did not work. In fact the game deleted it. So that experiment was a failure. :)

I also tried uninstalling the addon and reinstalling. This too did not work and resulted in the following error message

1) BTW imports and conversions of CT databases are all automatic, so long as CT plugin is checked in the AddOns screen, and only so that it loades its database so that RaidTracker can see it; the verison of CT you have doesnt even have to be functional. This si so that paoepel can go dig up their old DBs even if havnt used in long time. The database should handle huge sets of data, you can use this forever and keep your things.

2) An Alternative way is to rename the CT_RaidTracker.lua in the WTF folder (i.e. wow/WTF/Account/SavedVariables/...), or drop an old one you have around in there, and rename it to RaidTracker.lua. It wil convert it in place. This is useful if you stil have the file around or old coppies and dont want to go get CT plugin.

The other way #1 is automatic, they can run in parallel. And no matter what decide can jsut turn off CT version when satisfied. Woudl stringly suggest jsut leaving it there for a while, and if you notice soemthign missing let me know.

Ok, I just went back and dug up an old CT_RaidTracker DB i had with about 22 raids in it, created with CT version "1.5 (modded by Eris)". I hadnt tried in long time, it seemed to import and work fine. It imported teh DB then did all the conversions from DB 7 (the CT version DB i was on) all the way to 17, in teh new versio you dont have yet, which means that verion 16 conversion worked too. So this stil works. I dont know if there were later DB versions of CT, but if you just have CT version and the CT plugin loads with teh current verison of RiadTracker, and RaidTracker has an empty DB it wil suck all that in. A lot of tiem and energy was spent to make sure this worked long way back. Also because of this i dotn kwo why soem are nto gettign the 15 to 16 conversion to work which part of that is the rename from PlayerInfos to Players, which is why i assume they are getign the error.

It should have converted the DB to Use the new name Players, you can look and see if the DB version is 16 or not. in teh WTF folder the RaidTracker.lua file. PlayerInfos was changed to Players in the database, and should have been converted when raid tracker started. VersionFix option should say 16 which means the code ran.

Just updated to your mod from CT raidtracker and tonite was is a 25 man, left and then joined a 5 man. RaidTracker v2.1.13 ran the 2 runs together.

Looks like the DB didnt update. Thats bad. ther are about 16 revisions of teh database now. 2.1.13 has another one, version 16. If you look in your WTF RiadTracker.lua file, there is a VersionFix option which says what eth current revision of teh DB is. With 2.1.13 it shoudl have become VersionFix=16. Tell me if it says that.

Actually i dont think its me. What is ShowDKP? Lokos like normal things happeneing until UpdateDB call in raid tracker then somehow ShowDKP addon is called. Which isnt a part of raid tracker.
