What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

I'd like an option for a button to activate the workshop

Please provide any additional information below.

I do a lot of quick crafting on various alts.  I only need the pricing information on the crafting sessions I do for the auction, not when I make a quick gem cut or glyph for a friend (or stranger offering gold).  Because its an alt, every time I switch to that alt and open the crafting window, Workshop needs to re-cache pricing information, which takes 30-40 seconds for gems, and a  bit longer for glyphs.

I'd like an option to open my crafting window without getting the prices cached, so I can just make the glyph or cut the gem or whatever.   An option to have a button on the tradeskill window to activate the workshop would be perfect....

seems reasonable.

maybe i could add a toggle to the caching system. "auto update" and "manual update". if you set it to manual update, then you'd need to tell it to recache when you deem it's appropriate. i could add a little button... um... somewhere that could be the "manual update" button.
