LootDB

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

LootDB adds loot information to the standard item tooltips. Therefor it extends the tooltips by a few lines, showing in which instance and by which boss an item drops. It also includes the droprate, items gained for honor, arena points, badges of justice, spirit shards, badges of heroism and badges of valor. LootDB is currently available in english and german. The library is prepared for further translations, so please feel free to contribute. Sometimes, it's getting hard to keep the database up-to-date, so some mistakes can and will appear ;) If you found wrong item information, then please use the ticket system CurseForge. Please add the item id to your ticket.

Umm... you're aware that PeriodicTable contains sets for instance & raid loot, yeah?
(No point in keeping two sets of data up to date... or loaded for that matter)

nice mod but it should be more updated.we are in patch 2.4.3 and soon 3.0.2.

It would be cool if this would also show which tier an item it, for example:

Source: Black Temple
Boss: Illidan Stormrage
Droprate: 33% x 3

Then, reputation rewards should show the proper boss and faction related to the item, for example the MH rings should say "The Scale of the Sands - exalted" and the "Blessed Medaillion of Karabor" should say you have to kill "Illidan Stormrage" to get it. Then there are crafted items which should say what profession to craft them with and how to acquire the recipe (i.e. "Sunwell Plataeu trash").

And a few items are also missing, for example: "Shadow-walker's Cord", "Boneweave Girdle" and "Ashtongue Talisman of Swiftness".
