A smart and simple buff notification addon-on. When u gain Hot Streak, Brain Freeze & MissleBarrage proc, displays a flashing fullscreen-effect and plays a sound

Never miss the instant pyroblast, fireball or Missle Barrage

Displays Arcanblast debuff as Combo Points (Rogue or Cat like) [Only in v1.3 alpha]

Commands:

/magealert - commandlist

/magealert flash on/off" - disable/enable flashing fullscreen effect

/magealert sound on/off" - disable/enable sound notification

/magealert fofsound on/off" - disable/enable Fingers of Frost sound notification

Support for all locations in current release !

Only sheeps are prettier!

One request, please add an alert for when a fire mage is under the effects of fiery payback.

right now blizzard doesnt and i always forget to use my faster cast pyros

Great addon! I find it very handy for hotstreak even though blizz added a nice animation for the proc. I do have one suggestion; give us an interface or means of changing the alert so that players can toggle audible and visual alerts and add an option for onscreen text alert.

there is a option to set sound on/off & flash on/off

This mod is wonderful.

The voice alert for brain freeze is awesome.

However I have only two issues.

The flash, at least to me, is annoying. I think you should make it easier on the eyes and only flash along the outline of the screen instead of the whole screen.

However I am not catching the alert for frost fingers. I hear the audio alert for brain freeze, but not for fingers of frost. You should make the alert only say Fingers instead of Fingers of Frost. Makes it faster and more concise.

I hope this input helped.

Cool.

The mod is truly awesome. I personally prefer the audio. It is so useful in tight situations where I can not take my eyes of my cool downs or my enemy. Having a voice announce Brain Freeze is very, VERY handy.

Now just have that for Fingers and we are set.

Thank you very much for your mod and your hard work.

Nice idea, poor design. MageAlert r15 tested, WoW 3.0.3 live, USEng client/server. Resource testing done with OptionlessHouse. The mod continually consumes a very high amount of CPU time, even when a character is idle: 1.2 to 1.5 CPU/second. It also continually sucks down memory, even when inactive: 6 to 7 KiB/second. Hope you can rewrite this to behave better with resources in the future. Will then be able to add it to my Mage mod collection as well as recommend it to friend Mages. It is a fine mod idea.

Is there anyway to add fingers of frost to the allerts that are played? It's nice to know when a proc goes off in pvp and as well if your moving in pve and it goes off the last FB you can get soem extra mobile dmg with ice lance while its up!
