MBB
The Addon HidingBar supersedes MBB on all aspects and is continually updated.

MBB reduces minimap buttons and makes them accessible through a pop out menu. Click the MBB button to expand the menu and display the buttons. Each button that is collapsed into the menu can be reattached to the minimap with Ctrl + Right Click. The MBB button can also be detached from minimap with Ctrl + Right Click.
Hot Key
- Ctrl + Right Click - detach / reattach a minimap button
Slash Commands
- /mbb - shows the MBB commands
- /mbb buttons - shows a list of all rfames in the MBB bar
- /mbb reset position - resets the position of the MBB button
- /mbb reset all - resets the MBB settings
Lol. Hires??? Clearly you have no clue about writing addons. Then again if you are still playing WoW not difficult to understand. ;)
I took over this Addon about 8 years ago and have been writing updates since around Patch 2.0. Probably before you were even playing wow hence your lack of understanding of why it's dumbed down these days, sad but true.
I all so tryed control right click to reattach the button to the map and that dosnt work, I dont know if im doing somethig wrong or what
Please help
I am new to your addon and I have a question my map is on the left and your button addon is on the right is there any way to move your addon to the left? I did not see anything in the config
Mouseover hide/show option will be perfect.
Awsome addon, Could you please update it for 6.0.3 and add Mouseover hide/show option? would be awsome!
MBB is not grabbing one of my buttons (Accountant - http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/accountant). I see in the comments that Ctrl + Right click will remove a button from MBB, is there a way to add one?
MBB doesn't gather DugiGuides 6.872 (DugiGuideViewerZ) [paid]
addon is not grabbing DugiGuides 6.871
i really like this addon.. But the only thing is that one of my minimap icons (Oqueue) is not clickable.. maybe an update?

How do I detach the MBB button from the minimap? I tried ctrl, alt, shift with left and right click and can't get it to move away from the minimap.
I figured it out. I had to press Ctrl + right click on the MBB button, but not try to move it.
Glad you figured it out. :) Thanks for updating your post.
I want to take this a step further.
I managed to get the MBB undocked from the minimap, but this makes the button "movable".
Would it be possible to lock it in place?

Could you add something in the description to allow this great addon to come up when you search for map button addons. Was reinstalling addons and actually had to google it to find the right addon. Curse doesn't show it when you search for "button" addons ... glad I found it finally ... great way to have buttons available but not taking up viewing space on the desktop screen...
Sorry, I am not sure what you mean. MBB is not an addon for buttons.
oqueue minimap button wont work with this
Hi! what can I do to take off the addon the button of wim for example?
Thanks
Ctrl + Right click will remove a button from the MBB popup menu.
Having some slight compatibility issues with QuestPointer which is an addon that places quest points of interest markers on the minimap. MBB seems to be capturing them and hiding them away inside its button, and they are unclickable in order to use the ctrl+right click feature to remove them. I was wondering if there was some hidden way of manually adding frame names to be ignored to the ignore list. A slash command would be great or even better some built in support for QuestPointer by automatically ignoring the buttons it creates would be great. Using /mmbb buttons reveals the button names for QuestPointer to use the following format: poiMinimapX_X where X are numercial variables, simply having MBB ignore anything starting with poiMinimap would do the trick. Thanks for your time and consideration. I look forward to futher updates in the future.
Found a solution for myself by just pushing a bunch of frame names into MBB_Exclude so it's working for me now, but built in support or a built in command for ignoring frames by hand would be appreciated.
