HI Morgalm,
Currently Morgdkp 2 supports Eqdkp plus version 0.6 However, the eqdkp plus people have been busy latelyand are scheduling a new 1.0 release. The third release candidate of the software is out now. I am thinking ofswitching from eqdkp to eqdkp plus (to get multi-pool support),so I gave your eqdkp plus plugin a try. It turns out it no longer works :-(
Looking at the documentation of eqdkp plus ( see http://eqdkp-plus.eu/wiki/dev/index.php?title=Update_a_plugin )a lot of stuff has changed. Should I try to update the plugin myself or do you fancy on doing this?

Hmm looks interesting I will try take a look. What I need from you is some raidlogs exported from morgdkp in game. Simple one with a couple items and couple events and then a more complex full raid one. Can you get me those for testing? I no longer raid at all or play lol.

There are basically two reasons I can think of:
1. Legacy, as there was already a format choosen before eqkp plus was considered. 2. Direction/positioning. For Morgdkp2 eqdkp plus is just another dkp tracking website, as WoW is just another game for eqdkp plus.
I'm currently porting the old code to the new eqdkp plus version (1.0 RC4). If there is a way to easily change the xml schema that raidlogimport uses and the functionality is the same, this might be a better way to go.
Yeah BlueWarlord is correct. Main reason at the time was because eqdkp would not do everything I wanted to do. Such as adding multiple raids, mass changing dkp values, etc. I can't even remember anymore but there was alot more it wouldn't do that my plugin would.
Have you done any work on this yet Blue? Finally starting to look at it and don't want to duplicate work.
Have you tried importing a log using eqdkp1.0 raidlog importer that is output from morgdkp2 in eqdkp format?
Yes, I have done some work on porting the plug-in. I have managed to get the import preview to work. I will post the files and some screenshots later today. I still need to test the eqkp 1.0 raid log importer with the morgdkp2 eqkp output format. I will do this after I give you the files and screenshots.
Right, I have attached a zip file with the current alpha version of the new plug-in. Just put it in the eqdkp-plus plugins folder. Next step, is to give you some screenshots.

The next step I want to work on today is to start with getting the parsed and previewed data actually into the database.
If you are still eager to do some work, I suggest you start working on the export to LUA file functionality. You can use the code from the zip file as a basis.
Looks like you have made some good progress:) When I try to install your files on my server (I can not copy to the plugins folder directly as it is protected so I wrote a package to install it which I had already done) it installs properly but I get the same problem I have been running into. When I click export/import option I get a 500 internal server error even with your plugin that you have obviously had working from the screens. Did you run into this and find the cause? Are you running same eqdkp as me 1.0RC4?
Hmm well that is very interesting I am able to copy it in directly now and it works fine. Must be an issue with the installer although all the files were present. Weird.

Ok I have finished the export function. It is mostly tested except haven't been able to test alias's as I don't have any and need to fix import to add them. They have made quite a few changes so updating isn't a simple port as you know. Annoyingly they took away all member_name fields from most tables so you have to use member_id now. Anyway try give it a test see if it works right for you in game (if you are raiding) and pay particular attention to if the dkp values (earned/spent etc) and the attendance look correct. Also I changed a couple of the icons I liked them better:P
Did you want to stop what you are doing on the import and let me take over now or what?

Hi Morgalm, I would like to complete the import stuff myself. I did make some changes for the alias. I created a custom table to hold the aliases, as this function does not seem to be present in eqdkp-plus. The add-on should create this table during installation.
Let me take a look at what you did so far, so I could merge it with my stuff.
Yeah there always was a custom table for ctrt_aliases I just created in a different spot then you did. Well if you change your mind let me know as I was getting into enjoying the coding and the tables will need quite significant changes for the database entry stuff. Otherwise I am off to enjoy bioshock:)

You haven't made any changes since your last file post have you? I can't find anything that looks different? I have uploaded the current plugin to the repository and I will update it now as I work on it (daily hopefully) Also are you using a proper text editor? I just ask cause your code isn't really indented properly with tabs and it makes it much harder to use the svn to compare code:P (Thinks everything is different even though it isn't)
Hi, yes, I most likely did not change anything. I wanted to program a bit yesterday evening. However, I got stuck with sorting out some infrastructure issues as my web account changed server :-( Hence, I did not get to the point of writing code. I'm using NuSphere PhpED as an editor, so it should be fine.
Right, I will look at the svn version as a basis if I start hacking again on Sunday.
Yuch infrastructure issues:( I already made a few changes mainly little bugs that got the aliases/dkpchanges working right. I am basically ready to start the database inserts I will try to get some work on that done today and push it when I can.
I uploaded where I am at to svn. I wouldn't bother trying to work on it as I am done aliases, almost done dkpchanges. So all I really have left is raid inserts and with what I have learned so far will probably go quicker if I just finish it instead of you trying to figure out what I did and why lol.
Okidoki, I hope you manage to complete it. Sorry about those annoying tabs, I have looked up the settings in the editor, and indeed it was a mess :-( I have fixed it now, so hopefully it will not be an issue in the future.

No, I haven't. For the past 2 weeks my guild has been in trouble and I am spending a lot of energy on getting it back on track.
