PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

They're the Player's Pet and Player's pet's target frames. And you have Swap with owner on for the Player's Pet frame.

You could have figured out what they were by using solo config mode while not in a vehicle.

This also is the identical behavior as the default UI.

I've updated to 4.0.0 beta-16 on the Cataclysm Beta but i still have the same issue that even after i try to make my own UI it gets reset and everything i did is gone back to default if i log out, exit game or reload ui

Get the latest alpha I disabled Groups on it on that build and it makes profiles work. Ultimately the problem is a Blizzard bug and my change just avoids the pain that breaks other things that didn't have to.

I updated pitbull this morning, and to my dismay, i get into a bg and have this big raid box on the left of my screen, which i do not want. Not sure where the setting is to have that not show at all. Can someone help.

From the FAQ:

How do I turn the default Raid/Party frames on/off?

Go to Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and uncheck or check the box next to the raid/party frames to turn on and off the Blizzard frames and Raid manager. If you would like to use the Blizzard raid manager with PB4 frames, this should be set so that they are not hidden here, and use the "Hide" button on the Raid Manager window.

I want to display all the buff/debuff icons on player and target but not on raid group units, looks like it is a all or none settings, or I just did not find the correct settings.

You need to make a new layout. When you want something to look different, just make a new layout and add or remove those functions you want/dont' want to see. Details on making layouts in the guide linked above.

For whatever reason, on Live, when in a raid, Blizz Default raid frames is showing up, and I cannot disable. I have Pitbull Raid frames active, and everything in blizzard unchecked.

Open the Blizzard Raid manager and click "hide"

This allows you to use the flares/etc with your PB raid frames.

@oisteink, What does this have to do with me? We never shipped a broken AceAddOn, it was only broken for 4 hours and the packager was broken during this time frame so nobody should have gotten it. On top of this the breakage shouldn't do what you're saying. I've heard people complaining about broken profile stuff on beta, is this on beta? If so then I'm sorry to say we're terribly broken on beta because Blizzard broke the stuff on their end that we are dependent upon.

Edit: Ok tracked down the AceAddOn problem. Upgrade to a newer version of Ace3 would mask the problem I've solved it. beta16 will fix this permanently.

@meezyfuh, Known issue, it's some sort of wonkiness with the Cooldown Frame on Blizzard's end. I haven't managed to track down a workaround yet. But I had noticed it and am investigating.

I seem to be having an issue with the latest Beta build. Everything works fine except for my Party frame. I don't seem to have any errors to speak of related to Pitbull but I can't get my party frame to display. Is this related to the other issues?

Blizzard broke the RestrictedEnvironments again, GroupHeaders are broken in beta build 13221, nothing we can do about it.

Could you please update AceAddon to latest revision? I'm getting the issues where it's not saving settings aswell. I'll just wait for a working version :)

I have a problem with health bars displaying the color by class, I have everything else unselected yet my focus and target have their health bars turn red in combat, how do I change this?
