PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Go into the group and recheck the Show when settings under the filtering tab. New options were added which will not be checked for you.

exviza, I specifically tested this and closed your ticket as invalid. It works for me in PB3 and PB4. PB4 has absolutely nothing to do with that tag it's implemented in LibDogTag-Unit. Due to the way talent query stuff works it's entirely possible that some other addon is breaking this. But PB4 only looks at the players talents when they spend points in them and only on Shamans. So I really don't think PB4 is conflicting.

I've been messing around with the aura filter lately and I cannot get Hunger for Blood to filter. Everytime I try to use the meta filter and set it with "mine" and "all self buff", hunger for blood will not show. Only slice and dice, evasion, and sprint shows.

I want to filter only 5 buffs to show on the player frame for my rogue. I've also tried the "name" and using whitelist to filter out the names, but with that, none of the buffs show.

Well first of all it really should have been in my default sets of filters and I'm fixing that. However, I suspect that you were adding it with the f in For lower cased. The case needs to match the name on the buff which in this case would be "Hunger For Blood" If you go into the Aura Filter Editor and go to Rogue Self Buffs and add "Hunger For Blood" and then use the Default Buffs, Mine filter it should work fine.

Next release will include this for you. But you can do the above for now.

On what buttons? Sounds like something your action bar mod or a cooldown mod would do. Really not sure why you'd want a unit frame to do this or where you're asking for the cooldown timers to go. If you want time remaining text for auras there are options to enable that in Layout Editor, Aura, Texts. However, based on what I think you're asking I think the answer is I'd rather not implement that.

As far as your border. Like I said before I can't reproduce this. I asked what platform you were running WoW on. It's going to be hard to help you and resolve the problem if you don't answer the questions I ask.

Cooldown for spells and abilities, on the buttons.. a number that ticks down to when you can use them again.

Also, the border wont show on my Player frame.. not when I reloadui, not when I relog.. only way to show it is by disabling border and enabling it again.

It shows on target and target's target frames though.

Somewhere in the last couple updates, pb's talentspec dogtag got broken. It seems like the inspect lib isn't being called properly. Can you please look into this?

p.s.: I had it working before the last couple updates by using libtalentquery-1.0.

I'm unable to replicate this. The border is properly enabled for the player frame after I login or do a reloadui. What platform are you on?

I have set a border on the frames. Every time I log in the border on player frame is gone, but it is still there on the other frames. When I go to options and disables the border and enables it again it shows correctly. Any fix for this? :)

Psychophan7, you should be using:

SmartRace(unit) or '' instead of just SmartRace(unit)

At least right now SmartRace can return nil in some rare cases. I suppose I should fix this but that'll work for now.

This new version Of PitBull beta 5 is very obnoxious to use to say the least. The configuration of it is very confusing. You go to change one thing and it changes everything, or you at a "layer" and all of a sudden things you didn't want to change are changed. Configuration of Pitbull beta 5 is VERY tough to figure out. U have been going at it for over an hour and had to reset, Somehow all my party pet bars read as the party members themselves rather than pets.

Very confusing to configure.

I keep getting this error whenever someone joins the party:

I'm fairly certain it's something in the text, because I don't get an error for any other text:

i have a problem dont know if its a bug or if its just me who fails but sometimes my mana bar overlaps my health bar and sometimes my health bar overlaps my mana bar. its starting to get really annoying
