PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Hello!
Thanks for the great addon.
Could you please add alpha opacity support for the colors in Pitbull?
On my druid the if the Fader Hurt Opacity is set higher to 0% it always shows even when I'm at 100% health.
Added a lunar power check that takes Nature's Balance into account
Is it possible to make the unitframes glow or put a border/highlight on a target when you have Aggro on it? Something like Aggro/Tank support? I know the threat for the party members, but curious on this one. Thanks!
In reply to DomDashSix:
Also coming across this LUA error when I do /pitbull - configure my party in top left dropdown, then select Disabled after I'm done

Ive been screwing around with some of the settings, and I cannot figure out how to get the target frame to highlight on my hunter when there is a dispellable buff/enrage.
It kind of works, but then breaks again. Like its not saving the setting.
Looks like it's still checking your pet. I'll do a pass on class dispel stuff
In reply to nebula169:
New alpha works perfectly, thanks! =)
Does anyone know what pattern i need to add to omnicc to alter the pitbull buff/debuff timers again? i reinstalled omnicc and now i can't figure out the name :(
You can check the name of most frames by using /fstack then mousing over it. For PitBull4 auras, you probably want to use 'PitBull4_Cooldown' in OmniCC
In the latest version, the blizzard player frame isn't hidden by default, you have to go into modules -> hide blizzard frames and toggle player frame on and off. Alternatively create a macro for /script PlayerFrame:Hide(). I tried reinstalling pitbull but the same issue occurred. Is this a known defect? Thanks, love this addon, been using is since the very beginning!
Do you use Raven? From issue #1302:
In reply to nebula169:
That was the issue, thanks a lot for the suggestion, worked perfectly
Is there a way in pitbull 4 to get the buffs and defuffs to sort by time remaining?
Does anyone know how to "highlight" the selected target by "border". I mean when someone is selected, there is a border on his frame, otherwise the border is hidden.
Newest Classic version updating to Retail instead, making it nonfunctional (Twitch client).
I can't do anything about the client updating to a release for the wrong game version. You just have to manually revert back to a correct release if it happens.
The frames are acting weird in Classic WoW for me. For example, I have to manually go into pitbull each time the game reloads/loads and then disable and re-enable target otherwise the target frame will not appear at all.
Maybe I just haven't found it yet, but after tons of searching through options, I can't seem to find a way to reposition the special resource bar that attaches to the player frame (Holy power, DK Runes, etc). I know I can choose which point of the frame to attach it to, but how I have my bar set up (centered below character with action bars below and above and weakauras near that) I can't move it far enough away from the cluster to not have it overlap and interfere with my setup. I've resorted to disabling that part and using a different addon for that resource for the classes that use it, but I'd like to use the one that comes with this addon so I don't need a second addon for it.
If I'm missing some positional setting that lets me define the x/y positioning of that resource, please point me in the right direction...
If not, could this be implemented?
Thanks for all the work done so far, it's a great addon!
I have this weird bug that _some_ of my personal buffs wont have the optical fader radial thingie. It looks like a bug, because it happens to random buffs and gets fixed after you switch around some options (like "supress cooldown duration") but it breaks again after a while (usually after changing zones).
Its not dependent on the souce, on my ret paladin I would cast two blessings and one will have the radial display, and the other one wont.
Its a pretty minor annoyance but it is really bugging me :(
