PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

The group config modes were broken before, but we could still get a workable config from them with some toying. I wish you'd bring them back :( Now it's much harder to configure pitpull.

Might need this event which you'll have to make under the Modules LuaTexts tab (choose All in the checboxes): RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE

But I'd try it without the event because I believe PitBull4's own internal triggers should make the update happen.

Is there a way of showing group number / raid group number with Lua texts module? Ive gotten it working with dogtags, but in diagnosing my very poor fps in raids im seeing pitbull_dogtagtexts spiking to 15-20% cpu usage constantly hence im trying to go back to lua.

I have a problem on my druid only. When I go through a load screen, the blizzard default player and player target windows unhide. I have to go /pb modules, hide blizzard, and uncheck and recheck to get them to disappear again. Any ideas?

When I enable the Latency bar for cast bar I now see a pink area in addition to the normal grey area how do I remove that?

oh i think the horde thing is a buffs and it's buffs and debuffs overlapping

Is there a way to disable or move the "Banner of the Horde" buff icon on training dummies, it comes in front of the first normal debuff.

You could setup a filter to remove it. See the All About Auras section in the guides above if you're looking for some guidance on the aura filters.

Is there a way to turn off the suppression of the alt power bar? Pitbull seems to outright disable the original version, but I'd still like it to show even though I also added the bar to my player unit-frame.

For the AlternatePowerBar for things like Atramedes, how does one get it to show the values as text as well for your current sound level / max sound level?

If you use LuaTexts (or want to use it for just this) there will be predefined text codes for Alternate power. New profiles should get this automatically. Existing profiles will have to add them. To add them just make a new text (call it whatever you want) and select one of the prebuilt Alternate power codes from the drop down. Set the text up to show where you want it to and you should be set.
