Quartz
Quartz is a modular approach to a casting bar addon. An overview of (hopefully most of) the modules:
*Player
The core of Quartz is lightweight implementation of a standard casting bar, with configurable size, text and icon positioning, and colors.
*Target/Focus
Implementation of target and focus casting bars in similar fashion to the player cast bar.
*Buffs
Display of target and focus buffs and debuffs as duration bars.
*Flight
Hooks into FlightMap or InFlight to display the current flight progress on your casting bar.
*Global Cooldown
Displays a tiny spark-bar to show your Global Cooldown near the cast bar. Helpful for those who'd rather not squint at their action bars to see when they can cast again.
*Interrupt
Changes the color and text of your casting bar to help show that your cast has been interrupted (and show who interrupted it).
*Latency
Displays the amount of time spent between cast send and start events, in the form of a bar at the end of your casting bar, with optional text that displays the actual duration of the lag. This helps in canceling casts when they will not actually be interrupted, especially for users with consistently high pings.
*Mirror
Shows the 'basic' timers such as breath and feign death, as well as some 'odd' ones such as party invite time, resurrect timeout, and arena game start, and a framework for injecting custom timers into the bars.
*Range
Recolors the casting bar when your cast target moves out of range mid-cast.
*Swing
Displays a swing timer for your melee weapon as well as hunter autoshot.
*Timer
Allows for creating custom timers displayed on the mirror bars.
*Tradeskill Merge
Merges multiple casts of the same tradeskill item into one big cast bar.
Use /quartz to bring up the configuration menu.

This is a pretty nice addon all around,
though i would like to see a 5 second time on the castbar for those of us who try to stick to the 5 second rule
swing timer doesnt work with any Dual wield
How do I move the bar that comes up over my portrait?
I'm using the latest version from the Ace Website and have a problem with the flight module... I use FlightMap and Quartz hooks in and correctly shows a timer bar for the remaining flight duration using the castbar... but I also see the flight timer bar of Flight Map in the middle of the screen... how do I get rid of that? Don't know why the standard flight bar is shown, too... I did NOT have this issue when using eCastingBar.
Anyone knows help? Some setting I missed in the options somewhere?
I have a suggestion, and if you used it you would be the only one to include blizz. I really like your swing timer, because it tells me what the total time is on the left, in addition to the timer ticking on the bar. This needs to be applied to spell casts, specifically steady shot. I've been trying to gage how my steady shot cast time changes with haste gear, heroism, things like that. But there is nothing right now that can give that information. Unlike casters (who can easily see how fast there spells will be) the tool tips for hunters have fixed durations, and to date I have found no mod that displays the correct total cast time of a hunter ability. An update to this mod that simply has the total cast time on the left for hunter casts (like steady or aimed shot) like the swing timer does would fix the problem. Thanks.
After downloading the most current version via the Curse Client, it is still displaying 52797. I've tried to uninstall it and then reinstall; it doesn't seem to be updating to r66237.5.
Needs update!
Is there any way to have the bar color vary by spell class? Or at least have a seperate color for player/focus/target bars.
Is the swing timer working at all, or is it just a few classes. On my shaman its not working, please fix soon
Does the swing timer not work for warrior 2her's? I know quartz works cause it works for my hunter, however for my warrior, the swing timer isn't registering and it would help greatly as I'm arm's/Imp Slam spec.
Not showing it appears for Paladin Retribution. This mod was recommended to me to maximize my dps but it isn't showing/working for swing timer.
For some reason my own Textures aren't working.
I've made one in Photoshop and saved as Targa (Blukkie.tga) and added the following line beneath the Xeon one:
sm:Register("statusbar", "Blukkie", "Interface\\AddOns\\Quartz\\textures\\Blukkie")
It shows up in the Dropdown menu, but doesn't show any texture.
The Curse client won't install r66237.5 for 2.4 so I manually install it, but when I run the Curse client it installs 52797 over it. Is r66237.5 a beta or unofficial release, or is this a bug in the Curse client?
yes its happened to me too. Its not fixed. Download a mod callled "Slammer" i think its on wowinterface.com
This Swing timer is NOT working....
Slammer is giving errors also...
My quartz swing timer bar doesn't show up until I use slam, which is the opposite of what I want it to do. Is this happening to anyone else?
well i DL quartz yesterday and it was perfect
But i got only 1 problem...
...i cant move my buffs from the normal place (next to minimap) to bars like screenshot!I made all the buff option done but the only buff bars i got are the target's.How can i solve this problem?
When I install via curse client it install version 52797 and not the most current one, so its not compatible with WoW 2.4, how can I download the most recent version?
