I've had this happen a couple of times, but not often. Reloading the UI has always fixed it.

It sounds like the client didn't have the data immediately. I wish I knew if there was an event where I can scan for it, but documentation is so poor that I'm kind of in the dark. To make up for it, the most recent version (v6) will keep checking for quest information if it finds nothing. Are you by chance using this?

Yes, I'm currently using v6. However, when I last experienced this, I believe I was using v4 or v5.
