I know that you have already stated that you do not like special filters.

Yet I am running into really low drop items, where I would like to track some progress to ease the grind.

Examples:
Multiple classes:
* Warglaives of Azinoth: Warrior. Rogue, ...

single class
* Sealed Tome of the Lost Legion / Warlock
*  "Fandral's Seed Pouch" / Druid
* Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury / hunter

"personal"
* Binding of the Windseeker, if you already have one
* Second Warglaive

Rarity has all the options included apart from a Multi checkbox for classes or a selector for specific characters.

I don't particularly want to put all those things into Rarity since that's not the goal of the addon. That's why I made it so you can add items yourself. Rarity focuses on mounts, pets, and toys only, but you're more than welcome to put whatever else in that you want to track.

I'll consider doing class filters but it's not high on my list.

No, I wanted to give examples, how a Class-filter / personal-filter could be used later.

I did not mean to add those items into the database. I would do that on my own.

Problem atm. is for example I can add "Fandrals Pouch", but I am also Farming the instance with non-druids and thus the statistics would be scewed.

Same goes for Molten Core where I farm with 2 characters, where only one has the thunderfury quest and only on this character I want to track the chances for the other half dropping.

I hope I could explain it a bit better.

Just want to remind you about this :) This feature would be a great help for some transmog gear or fun items (that are not in the toybox) and of course the Seed Pouch.

If you implement these filters, make sure that the user can choose multiple classes or characters.

Not doing the per-character toggle at this time. Class filter implemented in upcoming build.
