Steps to reproduce-----
1. Install version r583-release.2. Look for the Rarity LDB launcher or information in the tooltips.
Expected outcome-----
- Launcher should be available and information should be displayed in tooltips.
Actual outcome-----
- Nothing is available, Rarity acts like it's not enabled.- I receive the following errors:
2x Rarity\Locales.lua:1966: unexpected symbol near '=' Locals:
2x Rarity_Options\Options-Options.lua:2: Usage: GetLocale(application[, silent]): 'application' - No locales registered for 'Rarity' [C]: ? ...eArmory\Libs\AceLocale-3.0\AceLocale-3.0-6.lua:134: in function `GetLocale' Rarity_Options\Options-Options.lua:2: in main chunk Locals: (*temporary) = "Usage: GetLocale(application[, silent]): 'application' - No locales registered for 'Rarity'"

Additional information-----
- I run in the WOW US English client on NA servers.
- Seems like the same issue mentioned in this comment and this one.- Could also be related to the issues that Curse Forge and Curse in general are having with localizations for some uploaded addons. See this and this for more information. I'm getting similar errors for another addon I updated today, even when they are the only addons enabled.
- Rolling back to version r581 fixes the issue for me.
(Side note: I don't remember not being able to use markdown in bug reports before. But gd Curse, can we get some markdown please? I feel crippled...)
OK, I'll look at this tomorrow. This is definitely not my fault, as the localization system has worked correctly for going on around 7 years now I think. So that means they fucked it up (technical term). Not surprising. Really wish they hadn't pushed this transition.
Update: I have reproduced the issue. It appears to be a syntax error caused by Curse's new packager. I have submitted a (very irate) ticket to them. They are off until Monday, but I need to leave the broken build up so they can look at it.
No worries, the old version works fine for me, and I personally don't need the Raiding with Leashes IV stuff right at the moment. I'm sure others' mileage may vary.
It seems like this transition had some...issues. (We used to call them "opportunities" at my old job...) I've been on deployments, and no matter how much testing one does it always seems like dev and production are completely different animals. Hopefully they can get all these "opportunities" resolved quickly; I know how frustrating this can be for everyone involved.
Have a great weekend!
I have the same problem, addon is not loading at all for me, when i wrote /rarity inside wow nothing happens and when i look for it there is nowhere while it is checked in addons window. I Rolled back in previous version and still not working.
Also one more thing that i would like to ask, why it does not track the new pets from Ulduar, ICC and trial of the crusader?
@vukodlak29: You need to go back to the last release version r581. You can download that under "Files" at the top of the page or clicking here.
The newest version (that's currently broken) will track the new pets you mentioned, once the issues with the upload get sorted out. Allara is waiting to hear from Curse about it, which will unfortunately probably not be until Monday.
Curse knows about the problem and the developers will be back in the office on Monday to look at it. They have a large number of tickets due to this rather botched update (not so much a botched deployment, as they succeeded at pushing the code they wanted; they just didn't do a good job of thinking through their changes and testing them).
I've removed the bad builds and you should update back to r581.
Torhal at Curse said this bug is affecting some of his add-ons too, and he's got many of the most-downloaded add-ons on the site, so I have faith they'll get this one fixed soon.
I wish this be fixed soon, i love this addon and especially the achievement u get when u find something rare. I also hope they fix the tracking for new pets in ICC, Ulduar and Trial of the crusader
