Incorrect NPC id for Ashes of Al'ar #415

    • Did you RESTART the game after updating the addon? (Make sure to exit and close fully the client, and not just reload your UI, to detect newly-added files)
    • Steps to reproduce the error or unwanted behaviour (If the addon won't load, make sure to enable script errors!)
    • Any other information you consider relevant or helpful in solving the problem (Screenshots, expected behaviour, things you already tried to fix the issue...)

    After a couple of weeks I decided to see why Tempest Keep wasn't attributing the defeat of Kael'thas and removing it from my list of available farms and noticed that the npc id for Ashes is 99999 instead of 19622. I'm not sure if there's a way to edit that information on my side but I've not been able to find a way to do so.

     

    I know it's not that big of a deal but it's irking my ocd haha, thank you.

    What exactly is the problem you're experiencing? Are attempts for the item "Ashes of Al'ar" not being tracked? It doesn't use the NPC ID because there are statistics provided by Blizzard for this boss, so the displayed ID is only a placeholder, but tracking should work regardless of that.

     

    If you mean that the addon doesn't show when you've defeated the boss, that's because there's no defeat detection for the boss.

     

    You can edit the addon's database locally, but it won't persist if you update later.
