What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Find a spirit-->hit using character (spriest, elesham, moonkin) that is already hit capped, note hit rating.- Use the item "Crystal of Insanity" to apply the buff, "Visions of Insanity".- Open ReforgeLite and click "Calculate".- Note that it will attempt to reforge you out of the extra +500 spirit you have from the "Visions of Insanity" buff.- Use ReforgeLite to reforge.- Cancel the "Visions of Insanity" aura and note you are now under hit cap.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- Please ignore the temporary buff from Crystal of Insanity when calculating hit caps for spirit using classes.
What version of the product are you using?
- 1.12
Do you have an error log of what happened?
- No error, functional bug.
Please provide any additional information below.
- No additional information to provide.
Updated to 1.19 and the issue still exists.
AFAIK this is entirely intended behavior so that you can reforge using temp buffs to hit your caps if you so choose. If you take away this behavior then someone could just as easily argue that they want the buff included because they plan on using it all the time (someone running only lfr/heroics/pvp could very likely want to do just that). The easy solution for you is to just remember to remove the buff before reforging.
