This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Newest version does not work correctly. When scorch or LB expires, the bar does not go away. It just stays on the screen.

just got the new version, ty

the lua error is now gone

however, i notice that it is randomly stopping tracking scorch even when it is still on the boss, and also its not tracking my non targetted things at all

also when the bars do last the full duration they just stay on my screen long after the spell has expired :(

I'm looking into this at the moment - seems to be a problem with a change made to CallBackHandler-1.0 yesterday. If you've got some time and fancy helping me confirm this, see my post about two or three down from this one... Thanks.

OK, I've made a few changes to Scorchio! 2 to hopefully fix the issues caused by the changes made to the CallBackHandler-1.0 library.

Please let me know if:

a) this fixes the recent issues, and
b) fixes the long-standing issue some people have been having with certain bars not appearing/appearing halfway through their duration/etc.

I'm testing this at the moment... Loading only v1.1.11 of Scorchio! 2 from Curse, I see this behavior. If I go to ..\Interface\AddOns\Scorchio2\libs\CallbackHandler-1.0 and edit lines 132-134 of CallbackHandler-1.0.lua to comment out the change:

--~ -- return early if we're trying to register the same function again
--~ if method == methods[eventname][self] then
--~ return
--~ end

...then I don't see it. Would anyone mind trying this for me (that is - disable all other addons apart from Scorchio! 2, edit the CallBackHandler-1.0.lua file under Scorchio2/libs/CallBackHandler-1.0/ and see if the bars behave properly)?

i got the annoying issue of bars not disappearing after just upgrading EPGPLootMaster... but i don't see where these addons can collide...

anyone who updated to todays ace3 or callbackhandler lib update today will have broken bars, bars not disapearing when they should be or not reseting, looking frozen in place. This is do to a change in callbackhandler listed below. So if you update any addon that also updates your ace3, or you install ace3 seperately and update the lib by itself, scorchio 2 will break.

same here, old bars remain with 0.0 or 0.1 seconds and wont dissappear
tested with training puppets and inside raids

Is there any way to move the bars to where you want them? I don't like them at the bottom of the screen, they overlap with my ActionBars and I can't see the timers.

Open the configuration, click Toggle Anchor for the anchor you want to move, drag it to where you want it to be...

Some issues with Living Bomb bar, on algalon when I enter portal and die there - my living bomb bar stoped at 13+ seconds, until relog, 1 time had this issues when cast living bomb in pvp and used invis, after it bar didnt fade off.

This happened after i update QuestHelper, Decursive and EPGPLootMaster today. Yesterday and anytime earlier all was ok.
