This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Hi, would it be possible to get the pre-patch 3.1 sound for the hotstreak proc added to the hotstreak sound selection?

A couple comments...

1. Why is a stack count shown for Shadow Mastery? One application gives the full 5%, right?
2. IMO, it's hard to tell at a very quick glance whether you have a Hot Streak proc up. Largely this is because the bar color for it is almost identical to the bar color for Living Bomb. I wonder what could be done to make it more immediately obvious. Currently, I use this other mod called Mage Fever which puts a big red "button" on your screen whenever the proc is up.

I thought a little bit more on what the real problem is...I think it's just too hard to see exactly what the situation is, at a quick glance, when all the different bars are lumped together. My suggestion would be to make debuff bars (Slow, LB, Sheep, Shadow Mastery, Scorch, etc) and proc bars (Hot Streak, Missile Barrage, FoF, etc) into two separate groups that can be placed independently of each other. For example, in my case, I'd love to be able to have my debuff bars growing upwards, and then place the anchor for my buff bars just below those, growing downwards.

1. Shadow Mastery - yes, I got confused by there being 5 different Shadow Mastery debuffs, one for each point the 'lock puts in the talent. I have corrected this for the next commit.
2. The bars size, colour and location are all configurable. If two of the default colours aren't to your liking, you change them to others that are more suitable? Which leads me to:
3. While I have considered adding a second anchor, it's not high on my priorities at the moment. One thing you might like to try is changing the background color of your buffs/debuffs to separate them a little more for the time being?

Yeah, good point, I should try a different color, probably for Living Bomb (since I'm used to red = Hot Streak from my other mod...)

1. A WE timer is a thought, though it would have to be implemented differently from everything else (there is no buff/debuff event when the WE is summoned) and I would need to check talents and glyphs to see how long your particular WE was expected to hang around for, and also hook the death event to see if it dies early. I'll look into it...
2. Adding a preview (or, at least, a confirmation) for sounds as you choose them should be pretty straightforward. I'll try and get something in the next commit.

I'd also like to make two suggestions:

1. A Water Elemental up-timer. Something like a bar-timer that counts down until your WE dies. There is another mod that did this but it seems like it would work well with Scorchio!
2. A way to audition sounds for trackers.

Awesome awesome mod. This is becoming the must-have Mage-mod.

Yeah, checking to see if the four tanking slows or mage Slow are up on the target would be nice. I use another mod to track this and the proc buffs (like Hot Streak) atm, if Scorchio could check on TtW it'd eliminate the last reason to use that other mod.

TtW is on my radar, but it's a little more complicated than adding other single mage buffs/debuffs... Multiple different buffs, with different expiration times contributing to the same single bar in Scorchio! 2 - well, at the moment the code doesn't support it! I will try and get it included for the first full release though, which I am aiming to get out for 3.1!

Another 'bug' btw. Even if i unmark "Track <skill>" so the entire page goes grey as if not in use I still get warnings from expiring winters chill's if i forgot to unmark all other alternatives before unmarking "Track <skill>"

I can't reproduce this initially on the target dummies in IF. Can you narrow it down for me by, for instance, only using Frostbolt to apply WC, and the keep yourself in combat with the dummy using a wand or other non-frost spell until the debuff drops off and let me know if you still get the warning messages then, with Tracking turned off? Thanks.

This mod has gone from very nice for for Frostfire or TtW/Fire mages to nice for mages. I really like that you keep track of the arcane blast debuff as well as missle barrage. Awesome job

Sweet. There was indeed more than one fire-mage in the raid, conincidentally I never had a faulty HS-bar when there weren't adds up.

To be honest... the Hot Streak-meter works very poorly. There were nuuuumerous occasions when the HS-bar showed but I didn't have the buff on me. This happened a few times in Naxxramas but several times when we did 10man3drake-zerg tries. Atleast once per try but sometimes 2-3 times.

The reason to it I can only account to when living bomb crits on more than one target and the mod assumes I now should have the buff.

I'm disabling this feature and going back to having a custom Elk BuffBars on me as tracker.
