What steps will reproduce the problem?1. Do a default install of Sexycooldown2. Log on to an elemental shaman with the Lava Surge talent (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=77756)3. Go to a target dummy and cast Flame Shock, then Lava Burst. Keep casting Lightning Bolts and Lava Bursts as needed to stay in combat until a Lava Surge proc occurs and resets the cooldown on Lava Burst
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? When the Lava Surge proc occurs (It shows up in the Combat Log as "PLAYERNAME casts Lava Surge!.") I expect the icon for Lava Burst on the cooldown bar to disappear and activate the splash icon indicating it is no longer on cooldown. Instead, there is no splash icon and the icon stays on the bar for a bit of delay. The delay isn't very noticeable when doing a simple test on a target dummy, but the delay can be substantial during raid boss fights. I've even seen it once or twice simply keep going on the bar as if the cooldown were still active when it is not. I can tell when it actually activates and is no longer on cooldown from using Dominos and OmniCC as action bars.
What version of the product are you using?v0.6.18-3-g3d77c2d
Do you have an error log of what happened?no
Please provide any additional information below.
I have some more more observations from playing; often, when Lava Surge occurs, the Lava Burst icon stays on the cooldown bar until either a) I cast Lava Burst and the cooldown icon goes back to the full time position or b) it naturally reaches its the end of the cooldown.
For me the addon doesn't even show the cooldowns of the shock spells. Do you have the same problem?
It does, but it does so in a somewhat unusual way that I assume is a result of having all the shocks sharing a linked cooldown. When I do flame shock, I see a cooldown icon in the bar for flame shock; however, when I do earth shock I often see a cooldown for both earth shock and frost shock. I don't use frost shock often enough to remember its behavior with SexyCooldown.
I don't know how the addon detects cooldowns and keeps track of them, so I'm not sure what the specified behavior is when using one ability activates a cooldown on that ability and one or more other abilties as well. The only other class I can think of that had a similar situation was Hunters back when all trap types shared a cooldown. I believe that changed at some point in the recent past, so I don't know of another class to test this on.
Hunter traps behave strange and somehow inconsistent. Sometimes they show, sometimes not. CoolLine seems to function properly for the time beeing, pitty it does not have the features of sexycooldown.
