Feature Requests - Profile Import/Export and Raid Frame Buff Icons #1148

It'd be super convenient to see a profile import/export function where we can share profiles with friends or even keep local backups in case of WTF folder issues, which has happened to me several times, including the recent 8.0 patch, as well as be able to share my own profile from my main account to beta/ptr.

Also, in the case of buff icons on raid profiles, I'd like to see something similar to how the default unit frames allows buff icons on player unit frames in raids, except not limited to 3. Raid frames having 20-40 people just simply doesnt have enough real estate to comfortably use the SUF style of buff icons which place themselves off to the outside of unit frames instead of directly on them. This was a point of contention for my resto druid who was capable of having up to 6-7 hots on a player max, and regularly 4 at a time.

Import/Export exists. Go to "General", enable "Advanced", and then go to "Layout Manager" to import/export layouets.

For Buff Icons, I would suggest to look into using Indicators, which you can freely position and either give them identifiying colors for each HoT, or even the buff icon if you wanted to. This is how I managed all my HoTs on a resto druid, using the corners of the frames with colored indicators, much easier to spot then then busy icons.

If you really must use the buffs themselves, you can also just reposition them to be inside the raid frame.

Can you give me a rundown on how you set your indicators up for buffs/hots? I'm looking but none of the options seem to have to do with buffs/auras.

Thank you for the import/export idea as well, no idea I could already do that, huge help!

    In the SUF Options -

Go to Aura Indicators, on the first Tab "Indicators" you can configure which Indicators exists. I think by default you'll have 5, one in each corner and one in the center, thats what I use as well.

Switch to the second tab ("Auras"), and check the Druid section. Not sure which of  these are default, but I have entries for a bunch of the Druid HoTs in there. If any are missing, you can add new ones  at the top with "Add Aura". You can then assign each HoT to one of the indicators that you have defined (be it by default or you created them), set their color or if they should use an icon. The priority avoids conflicts, ie. if two HoTs are assigned to the same indicator, the higher priority will be shown.

Last Step, go to the "Enable Indicators" tab, and make sure the ones you want shown are also enabled on the units you want them on, ie. on raid or party frames.

This has the bonus that it'll only show things you really care about, ie. you might not want Wild Growth since its auto-targeting anyway, but of course it does require some setup.

Cool, sorry for the delay. This is kinda working, however i do have another question. I have multiple indicators that I want to anchor to the same side, but instead of sliding one indicator when another is applied, they stack on top of each other and you only see the highest priority one. Is there any way to make it so if I cast Rejuv and Rejuv(germination) they appear beside each other instead of stacked?
