This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
Warning: This project is experimental. Its files will not synchronize across the CurseForge network.
This will not be updated
Nevcairiel and Antiarc will be taking Shadowed Unit Frames over. I believe they handle things better than me.
Bossmansmith: Open the config window by typing /suf
In the window that pops up, On the left under General, there will be a checkbox marked "Lock Frames" Uncheck it to enable the drag/drop movement. Simply re-check it when done or click on the "Lock Frames" on the smaller dialog box.
Kazragore: Groups hasn't show up since Aviana released the first update.
Quote from Aviana:
"The current Status is that all Frames -should- work except party and raidframes. That is because of the changes in the secure frames that came with 4.0.1. I am still evaluating if it can be fixed or if i have to rewrite it."
Thanks for continuing to maintain and enhance these great frames.
r6: tested on Cata beta and on 4.0.1 live:
- can't open configuration /suf (added code dump post in the open ticket)
- but once that's enabled, I am hoping existing users can 'import' old setups.
Like so many others gotta say Thank You SOOOO much for picking this up. SUF is an example of how an addon should work; clean, light, presents a lot of information quickly.
Again cheers.
ok so the problem I'm having is I cannot get the options open.
I looked under interface: addons, tried /suf; /suf options; /suf config; read all the documentation here and looked through all the comments.
Any idea what I'm missing?
Also I had installed Simp before removing Shad and it appears your fix for importing the old layout failed for some reason when I did that.
Aviana, sweet, thank you for taking this over.
Having used unit frame addons since the first one ever came out I have transitioned from x-perl to pitbull and then shadowed and many others in-between in an attempt to get a cleaner layout and more memory efficient each time. When I learned that shadowed was no longer going to be updated I dreaded the thought, yet here you are to the rescue.
Thanks again!!!
I just downloaded it. I dont know if it works or not but I am so happy that you have taken the addon under your wings. I kinda cant imagine my interface without it... Huge thanks...
i am too getting this lua error. my gm told me he used a different version (r4) i think and the config worked but i have yet to try it. shadowed is still working decently for me so just gonna wait for an update to fix the config errors im getting to start messing around with these frames.
Yeah I'm not trying to repeat other posters, but I also am having trouble trying to access the config options. /suf I would except it to be does not work to open the config. Any advise?
With only simplistic unit frames and simplistic uf options enabled /suf gives me this

r7 fixed the errors with the config. When party and raidframes are fixed i will update the description and the addon will be aviable through curse.
Is there any way to copy settings from Shadowed Unit Frames to use in this? Rather not built my profiles up manually. =/
Did r7 fix party/raid frames? Or is that still being evaluated?
thanks for picking up SUF, I'ld love to keep using it. is there a way to keep the config? and is the new pala "combo" points suppoprted?

Groups doesn't show since r7.
Checking this out due to the better then average new raid frames.
How can I freely move the frame items without going into setting and typing in values?
@Fikasz: They already do. You can see screen shots of what it looks like by checking the "images" tab at the top
Are those going to support Eclipse/Soul Shards/Palypower?
