What steps will reproduce the problem?1. Group with a Ret Paladin get buffed with Greater Blessing of Might or with an Enhancement Shaman to get passively buffed with Stormlash.2. Do some damage.3. View damage sources.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?Blessing of Might and Stormlash damage should be attributed to the casting Paladin or Shaman, because as stated by Blizzard their classes overall damage is balanced around this external damage. What I see from this Heroic Archimonde damage meter, instead is Greater Blessing of Might as 5.4% of a Fire Mages damage and Stormlash is 0.5% of many classes damage.
What version of the product are you using?1.4-34
Do you have an error log of what happened?Skada: Оуми's Damage for Archimonde: 20:30 (2 Min 23 Sec):Ignite 4.18M (22.8%)Pyroblast 4.01M (21.9%)Nithramus 2.64M (14.4%)Fireball 1.35M (7.4%)Conjure Phoenix 1.28M (7.0%)Flame Patch 1.59M (8.7%)Flamestrike 1.03M (5.6%)Greater Blessing of Might 980.3K (5.4%)

"Their damage or other effects should be attributed to the Enhancement/Retribution player, as far as contribution to the group's damage goes."Warcraft Logs attributes correctly, its awkward that ingame meters currently do not.
I have looked into this now, and contrary to what they wrote Blizzard has not made it easy to attribute this damage to the Shaman/Paladin. It will need to be handled similar to how absorbs was once handled before Blizzard sorted it out - keeping tabs on who the sources of Stormlash/BoM buffs are, and attributing accordingly on the SPELL_DAMAGE events. Yuck.
Hopefully Blizz will change the behaviour before Legion hits.

This has already been fixed on "Details!" Damage Meter. I really prefer Skada and would like to continue using it, do you have a time frame when this will be corrected?
There is a bit of logic now to handle Stormlash and GBOM - but it's not very well tested. GBOM isn't tested at all, even.
Feedback is needed.
Just did a bit of testing with Stormlash.. It still counts 100% towards the buffed party member and not the Shaman unfortunately. Have not tested with GBOM Edit: This was with Skada 1.5-3 (I believe this is the current version)

Sorry, I meant with the alpha version. You can find it in the list of files here, or in the Curse client by setting version to alpha.
Sorry about that Zarnivoop! I've downloaded the Alpha now and had a bit of a test around. 100% of Stormlash damage now seems to be going to the Shaman, and not the empowered allies. Unfortunately I could not test with GBOM.
Has this change moved off the Alpha yet? Edit: I just tested in a raid, and it seemed that some players were still getting stormlash to their name (Between 4-10 hits) however I (As the enhancement shaman) had around 520 hits. Not sure why it is still showing up for allies; Nor if their additional hits should've been added to mine.
