    With a subtlety rogue in the group, it treats the "pet" their artifact weapon spawns for a few seconds as its own entity, instead of as part of the rogue. It does a significant amount of DPS, so it's really messing up rogues. On version 1.5-13 currently.

    Can confirm (came here to report this) using 1.6.5

    BTW the effect is soul rip is the spell it is using and is often tracked as Soul Rip
