BM hunter's dire beasts show as "Beast" in the combat log. there are still becoming detached from the owner.

This most likely was not the exact ID but this is an example of the creature ID for Beast

Again Name is "Beast" in combat log and refer to BM hunter's Dire Beasts. They do not always come "unstuck" from owners but are still doing it as of 1.6.9

That's not the same problem as the Hati problem, and it can't be fixed with the way Skada works (at the moment).

It's only a small percentage of the Beast damage. You'll find most of it is still listed under you. What happens is that the SUMMON event for the beast can arrive after the beast has already done some damage (essentially they are at the same time, so which comes first is random). That damage that the beast does before the SUMMON event arrives isn't attributed to you.

The reason is that "Merge Pets" doesn't really work the way it should. It should track the pets separately in its data, and then merge them into you for display. That way as soon as you know who owns a pet you can add all the retrospective damage into the player's count. But that's not how it works, it alters the spell details when the event comes in and just adds it to your spells. So anything that comes in when the pet is unattached can never be attached.

It's not really a huge rework of Skada to have it operate that way, but it's clear the authors have lost interest in the addon, and the licensing (All Rights Reserved) means the community can't fix it. The Hati problem is the second long-unfixed serious bug I have fixed this year (after the buff uptimes problem).

Skada is only going to get worse with each patch, I really suggest moving to Details!

Moving to Details doesnt really help much if for example (there are several) you wanna join a good pug cuz your guild members are away in vacation or whatever and the  raid leader kicks you cuz he uses skada and u got 200 k less dps on his metter. I might throw a party if this project closes down. As i said using details doesnt fix my problem with other noobs using skada which affects me too. We're what, almost a year into the expansion and this is still a pile of "expletive". The lack of interest and competence is quite staggering. Do the community a favor and close it down, thx.
