Skada Damage Meter
Skada is a modular damage meter with various viewing modes, segmented fights and customizable windows. It aims to be highly efficient with memory and CPU.
"Skada" is Swedish for "Damage".
Usage
When you first start using Skada, there will be a window created by default. This window can be extensively customized in Skada's configuration panel; click the little cog icon to access a menu, and then click Configure. Depending on your user interface, there may also be a minimap button allowing quick access to this menu.
Skada supports multiple windows. To create a new window, click Windows in the addon's configuration panel. There are three built-in types of windows - Bar, Inline, and Data text. Bar is the classic damage meter window, and is very customizable. Inline shows the meter in a horizontal line, which can be useful for integration in custom user interfaces. Data text shows just one item at a time, and can also be displayed by any LDB display addon, such as Titan Panel, ChocolateBar, or ElvUI.
In the normal Bar window, you can left click on specific items for more detailed information, and right click for less details. At the very "top" is the list of all saved fight segments. Some data modes have several detailed information views. In this case you choose alternate views by holding certain keys pressed while clicking. For example, in Damage mode, you can Shift-click a player to see what enemies the player caused damage to. Tooltips will display how to reach the different views.
You can also use window buttons for selecting fight segment and mode directly.
Scrolling in Skada is done with the mousewheel.

Skada is very easy to extend, and there are many extra plugin addons out there that add functionality, such as:
- Skada Graphs: Adds graph display systems to Skada
- Skada DPSplusHPS: Useful add-on for Disc Priests.
- Skada Chat Frame Integrator: Integrates Skada in any chat frame.
- SkadaScroll: Provides additional options for scrolling the bar displays
- Skada Avoidance and Mitigation: Helps tanks benchmark their damage reduction performance via avoidance and mitigation
- Skada for Tanks: Adds information useful for evaluating a tank's performance
- Guild Skada High Score: Let's you compare a guild's performance.
- Skada_FriendlyFire: Display friendly fire damage done by players
- Skada Player Score: Generate combined performance scores for players.

Posted May 4, 2013There is one feature I would like to see and I hope it´s not hard to implement.
When you click a menu to view some info, and then go back, Skada does not keep the vertical scroll position it had before and goes to the very top. Then, you have to scroll down again and search the next one, which can be somewhat cumbersome when you have a lot of info plugins and want to check a few of them.
Thanks for this great addon, I haven´t had any problems with it yet.

Posted May 1, 2013It'd be nice when having an open window that tracks "Enemy Damage Taken" to automatically select the first target you hit as the watched one, if you are not already watching a specific unit.

Posted Apr 29, 2013Some time in the last week my skada has suddenly started defaulting to TOTAL instead of current fight. I have changed NO settings at all.
This is very annoying as I am raid leader and keep whining at people for crap dps, only to then be told/realise that I am looking at TOTAL and not CURRENT FIGHT. :P
Does anyone know how to change this please? I have tried everything and googled for over an hour.

Posted Apr 25, 2013Problem I've been having is when I am on my Priest I cannot keep it on healing. For every new mob or boss encounter I have to go back and change it from damage to show healing again.

The CC breaker has stopped working for me also.
Also it is now unable to go to previous segments in any list(dps heals etc), it can only do total or current :(
I have 2 skada windows up one for healing one for damage, this has seemed to be why as I can select specific boss segment it has saved when its in *one* piece.
Hope for a fix soon!

Posted Apr 13, 2013Hi, I have been having "stutter" type lag while having the healing module turned on. Any time I use any sort of a heal while in combat such as a HoT, I start having the stutter problem. Is there any way I can fix this without having to disable the addon?

Posted Apr 10, 2013Why am i forced to manually toggle Skada when joining a group? I recently tested out some different meters(TinyDPS, ALDamageMeter), found them lacking and went back to Skada. Figured i would re-do my setup, and I can't for the life off me get it to simply show up when joining a group.

Posted Apr 9, 2013I have an issue where the addon won't work or read DPS if I just log into WOW. I always need to do a UI /RL to get it to read correctly. I am not getting any error message from the addon it just doesn't seem to read for some reason. ???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really like Skada over Recount!!
