SkadaHealAbsorbs
Adds a new module to Skada that tracks absorbs (Power Word: Shield, Divine Aegis, etc).
While Skada comes with a basic absorb tracker, its a bit lacking. It doesn't offer enough information, and it requires you to switch back and forth between the absorb module and the healing module to fully evaluate the healing done.
This module displays absorbs and heals in the same window. It tracks all heals/absorbs on a spell and player basis, and it calculates total healing done, percentage of total healing, and heals per second.
I've fixed the bug, and added support for a few more absorb spells while I was at it.
Let me know if you encounter this bug again.
@Mokhtar None of the absorb tracking addons out there are 100% reliable. Due to the way WoW currently reports absorbed hits, its not possible to calculate exact values. The code simply tries to make an accurate guess as to the value of the absorbs. Its like jumping throug hoops to even get that far.
The code I use for tracking absorbs is the same as used for RecountGuessedAbsorbs, and the default Skada Absorbs module. I simply store the absorbs on a per spell basis, rather than as a giant absorb catchall as Skada does.
Update: I tracked down a small bug which was ignoring absorbs from a few events. I expect the absorb tracking to be much more accurate now.
Please do remember though, that due to the way Skada segments fights, only sheilds cast *after* combat has started will be tracked for absorbs.
Is this reliable ? I ran a simple test (Skada regular Absorbs module deactivated) : pulled a mob with a dot, PW:Shield myself and killed the mob : only last absorb event was displayed in the module (my shield is not 1.1k and I made sure the shield had been completely used up during the encounter)
Sick of idiots who know nothing of disc spec that I suck at healing, how I heal 50% less than the top healer etc etc... cheers :)
