It would be cool to leverage the power of SpeakinSpell into randomized trade channel spam. Usage would be like this...
1) Create a "spell" list entry called "spam"2) Enter a variety of trade spam macros, for example- Enchanter LFW- Tailoring LFW- Selling mage portals- Disenchanting your stuff free for tips- Selling dungeon runs 50g- various funny variations on all of the above- various listings of specific recipes3) type /ss spam (probably via a macro so you can push a button)4) SpeakinSpell says one of your messages in the trade channel
Implementation considerations...
A) SpeakinSpell is not equipped to speak in trade, but the SendChatMessage parameters are easy
B) SpeakinSpell options for BG, raid, party, solo would not apply...- so add trade channel to the solo channels list, and make the user set BG, raid, and party to silent... ah but we want to be able to spam trade while in a party or raid group if we're waiting around in town and only in the group for social reasons... that could just be a documented limitation.
C) You can't link recipes, items, or crafting recipe books into the interface options panel.- Can we create those links from an API, and substitute them in for text <enchanting> or <tailoring> like we do for <player> and <target>?- maybe but then what about specific recipes?
Along these lines my character Stonaria likes to say a variety of things when I get to the summoning stone first like "ston is at the stone" and many jokes about that. I want a randomized speakinspell macro I can hit that does one of these jokes randomly like "/ss macro stone" which would talk in party chat, and only applicable in a group.
Other related features would include randomized chat spam for... - vent info - loot rules - guild rules - any situational thing where you have a set of different things you like to say in that situation, and you want to make it randomized
It's also worth considering a change to the "/ss ad" feature to work under this system as well, since it's a similar thing. It would become "/ss macro ad" and become user-configurable.
I'm re-assigning all my tickets to Duerma
Unassigning tickets that are not actively being worked on
