Introduction
Like myself, I know there's a lot of people that enjoy the functionality that Weak Auras has to offer; in fact, some of you may remember the Shaman Weak Auras package I offered. Though, the one downside with Weak Auras when dealing with larger packages is multiple import strings and a somewhat sloppy installation process. In light of this, I've decided to make the whole process much easier for the end-user and offer a solution that has is far easier than having to setup a large Weak Auras package.
The addon has evolved from Weak Auras, so it has that familiar feel that you're used to. Thanks to thousands of users testing the addon, it has become something far greater than I originally expected!
How to Use
This addon has been designed to provide a high-level of customization, in terms of aura layout. It's a very simple process and can be achieved by doing the following.
- /ssa - Access "Home" window in Interface Options
- /ssa ele - Access Elemental customization options
- /ssa enh - Access Enhancement customization options
- /ssa res - Access Restoration customization options
Moving Frames
One of the most requested features was the implementation of being able to move all of the frames. It's very simple to do!
- Type "/ssa <spec>".
- Click the "Layout" tab.
- Click the "Move <spec> auras" button to open the aura movement utility.
- A grid will appear and the auras will become moveable.

Posted Jul 29, 2017Sorry my english, i'm german.
I can do what i want - for the newest Version there is no "UNLOCK BUTTON"!
Toggle grid, toggle info-frame an close but no Unlock-Button to move the frames.
I deinstalled the addon, i delete the two files in WTF but there is no Unlock-Button.
I install the old Version an it works. Can you help me?
I love this addon an use it since the first day

Posted Jul 29, 2017I removed the unlock button due to confusion it was causing. You should just be able to move the auras when the grid appears.

Posted Jul 26, 2017So long as you only delete ShamanAuras.lua and ShamanAuras.lua.bak, all your settings for your other addons will remain unchanged.

Found out about this addon recently (ver r50) and it's really awesome. Looked forward for new versions since then and got really excited about fresh releases with CBT, SLT and T20 restoration set bonuses issues fixed, but it seems like new versions do not work properly and I'm very upset about that: only shows Maelstrom/Mana bar and castbar, also shows that "multiple UI errors" message. Using an old version for a while.

Posted Jul 26, 2017If you type "/console scriptErrors 1", you can turn on Lua error reporting. Providing any error details would be a great help :). Typing "/console scriptErrors 0" will turn error reporting off.
Alternatively, you can download the addons "BugGrabber" and "BugSack" for a less intrusive error reporting solution.

Posted Jul 26, 2017Thanks for the feedback. Downloaded addons you mentioned, here's screenshots of bugreport since I couldnt Ctrl+C it for some reason. Didnt understand a thing from these error messages but there are fonts mentioned several times.

Been checking everyday to see what the update will be like and it was deffo worth the wait:)
Loving the stuff you have added, you have even cured my OCD with the new length of the Maelstrom bar:)
Really loving the new cast bar too, can now delete Quartz so even less addon usage now.
Few things i picked up on...........
1: Unless i am doing something wrong but i still cannot adjust the size of the Auras on the second box, flame shock/earthshock/earthquake i can but not the others.
2: Also i don't know if i am imagining things but i am sure before the Maelstrom bar used to glimmer when it was telling me to earth shock @ 117 (trigger)....don't think the Maelstrom Trigger is working.
Apart from the above the only things i can think of to make this the best shammy add-on out there would be:
3: When adjusting the size of the Maelstrom and Casting bar size being able to see them at full size...i.e Maelstrom bar at 125 and casting bar at 100% and then adjust the size accordingly, right now when i press modify the bars show up at 96 Maelstrom (can't remember what the casting bar shows up at)
4: Maybe instead of having the layout tab keep it in the configuration tab with a button that says maybe "Unlock all"..... that way we can configure stuff and see what it is doing rather than configure something and then come out of configure mode and then back into layout to see and move things...a bit like how dominoes works (If this makes sense)
5: Also would be great if the dropdown menu for bar and background textures had some of the common ones like what Quartz has?
6: This one would be great....Right now there are two boxes with Aura's showing, would be great if the there was an option for the Aura's to be swap-able, i.e box one showing flame and box two showing earthshock, right now there is no way to separate them.
The above is what i would like to see but maybe others would not so it's just some thoughts.
Keep up the good work, this add on is really great and it is one i will keep on recommending to others:)

It's great to know there were people anxiously waiting a new update, so I'm glad I was able to provide a large update with lots of new features :)
The cast bar was quite the challenge but was well worth the effort in the end. One thing I'm going to quickly add that one of my guildies brought up is the ability to disable Blizzard's default cast bar.
For issues 1 and 2: A) Did you reset your SavedVariables file? B) Do you have Lua errors enabled? The reason I ask is these work fine for me, so I'm curious if there's some Lua errors happening on your end.
3. I could do that, sure. The purpose of having the progress bars partially filled was to allow people to see the background part of the bar. I'll most likely have the bars filled by default, but add a "Show Background" option.
4. I can see if I can make something work; it does make sense, yes.
5. The dropdown menus for fonts and background textures utilize SharedMedia, so it pulls fonts/textures from other addons that also support it. However, I'll take a peek under Quartz' hood and add a bunch of the same textures and fonts it has :)
6. This is something I've been wanting to do for some time, but I haven't managed to figure out an interface that would make it easy for the user to pull off, let alone actually code it. It would be an enormous amount of work to do either way. One of these days I'll take a shot at it! :)
The next update I plan to release will have similar customization capabilities for the progress bars, but applied to the Auras' cooldown texts; allowing people to not have to use Omni CC. So you'd be able to adjust font style, size, color, etc. Thankfully I coded this update in a way, where I did a lot of leg work for this, so I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to pull off. The most tedious part(s) about these kinds of updates is working with the SA_Config.lua file to populate the configuration interface because there's currently ~12,500 lines of code in that file alone, lol.
