Tank Warnings
Tank Warnings is a simple addon to warn configurable messages upon certain events related to tanking, like Taunt resists or usage of special mitigation abilities that are usually used in emergencies, like Shield Wall and so on.
Supports Warriors, Druids, Paladins and Death Knights, as well as integration with BigWigs creating global or local timers for specific abilities.
Messages can be sent to scrolling combat text addons as well as common channels like Raid Warning, Raid, Party, custom channel names, etc.

Posted Dec 26, 2008I was wondering if you might help me out with the BigWigs timer bars. Regardless if I choose local or global timer bars, is there a way for me to adjust where they will be independently of all the actually boss raid timers?
They're front and center on the screen which is kind of in the way for me. In a boss fight I usually have too many buffs to look at my buffbars and track em down, so I was wondering how I might move them say, off to the side?
Otherwise, great addon. I really appreciate your adding Lichborne and Unbreakable Armor. I don't think UA is spammy because IBF is on the same cooldown, so it could be just as spammy, especially when you remove the runic power requirement via the Glyph of IBF.

Posted Dec 12, 2008- it's not a reactive spell, it's a proactive spell as in the announcement of using it (I know this was not that was asked for, but would eventually get in as it's a small step for it to be in) would get very spammy and since it's used most of the time out of combat or only in combat to refresh it would either divert the attention of people to useless things or make them ignore the warnings due to excessive useless spam, the addon intention is to provide useful warnings without making them ask you to turn it off.
- To add a warning on number of charges/timeout would require a big ammount of code change in the addon as it's primary function is not warning when stuff ends but only when stuff is used and it doesn't have any way atm of checking charges of self buffs, even if Bone Armor is somewhat considered to be added to announcements this functionality will not, there are already a number of spells that require 'exceptions' in the code (like Glyph of Frenzied Rejuvenation + Frenzied rejuv) and adding more just means crap code tbh, I'm pretty sure there are alot of addons around that could either be adapted to work with Bone armor or have it's functionality added (like Shaman's addons)

Posted Dec 12, 2008I've added AS, LoH, HoS on 1.1.3b.
Added Lichborne and Unbreakable Armor on 1.1.4b
(I wasn't going to add Unbreakable armor, only 1 min CD can be very spammy .... but in the end Christmas spirit asked me allot :D)
Tested and confirmed working:
- enable/disable of bigwigs timers this can be found on "Announcements" you need to have BigWigs installed and loaded (box ticked in Addons list on character screen) to show up the options.
- enable/disable of Raid warning messages, there are 2 ways of sending Raid Warning messages, either through output options ("Messages -> Output") or, if you setup the Sink to be a scrolling combat text you can force them or not through an option in "Messages" named "Send messages to raid warning regardless", if you don't want to, disable this last option, and change the output sink to something else besides raid warnings.
- I'm not going to add Bone Shield sorry, with the next patch comming nerfing Bone Shield to 20% won't be a big deal tbh, but if alot more DK's ask for it I'll reconsider.

Posted Dec 4, 2008About IBF and AMS I'll make some tests as soon as My DK learns AMS and IBF but you should be able to disable them, there's an option in Messages that enables the sending to RaidWarning regardless of what the routing is, try to disable that and see if what you're looking for.

- Righeteous Defense Resists
- Divine Shield Announcement
- Hand of Protection Announcement
I tried to keep the announcements/resists to those that aren't somewhat spammable, I mean, am sure your raid will complaint if you get Avenger's Shield Warnings and every time you use it, it misses one target, can be tiresome. About LoH, I though about making an announcement for LoH also, but honestly, I can't remember now why I didn't in the end, I'll add it in the meanwhile.
