Migrating settings
If you have the settings from the old Threat Plates addon you can go in \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<account_name>\SavedVariables and make a copy of TidyPlates_ThreatPlates.lua with the name TidyPlates_Threat.lua. Then open the newly created file with a text editor and on the second row replace the name with TidyPlatesThreatDB.
I keep getting this error message:

Why does my TP:T always fall to Headline View in Dungeons ?
my TP is working on all my characters but it doesn't work when I am on my DH, health bars dont appear
Hi IceEagle.
2 requests if you have the time:
1) Can you implement a better way to show target hightlights for the widget? I like the 'Default' hightlight best, but it's a little bit too subtle - can you make it so that the highlighted "border" is a lot thicker on the target nameplate? ('Arrows' highlight would be good also if you can make the arrows less tall and more wide.) Also, perhaps a way to have a target highlight for Name Only mode targets too please.
2) At the moment my guild is forcing us to use Kui Nameplates for the Star Augur mythic fight, due to the boss addon mode it has for that fight, where it sets rune signs on the nameplates of friendly targets for Grand Conjunction. Is there any possible way this can be implemented into TP Threat?
<3 u
please add the option to spotlight casting units
also, updated from a pretty old version to the newest, now my castbar doesnt have a border anymore.
Loving the name-text only option, only recently discovered this :)
However, is it possible to get an option to make these "click-through"? If a player is standing next to a mailbox, I can't click it :D
Tidy Plates Threat Plates got disabled on my end, how do I turn them back on. I tried the enable in settings but that did not work. If anyone could help that would be great :D
I'm really in love with this version of TP. Aggro colours work like a bliss and custom plates are awesome to use.
Just one Thing I'm missing from the vanilla tidyplates: Adjusting size and/or alpha when casting. Would be awesome to have not targeted plates on a small size and low alpha but as soon as they cast they gain size and opacity for easier interrupts.
Also is there a way to get rid of that red line texture that blocks the castbars if it isn't interruptable?
This would be absolutely awesome :D
tp has non striped castbars but could not find an option in tptp. what i did was: went into C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\TidyPlates_ThreatPlates\Artwork, open the TP_CastBarLock file in a image processing program like "gimp" or "photoshop". (i used gimp). use a "fuzzy select tool" to erase the inside of the black frame which is the red line texture (stripes) that are not needed. save the file as a xcf on desktop or anywhere you like and convert it into a TGA file on a site or with your own program. google "how to convert tga files". move it into the original folder. results are cast bars without the red stripes:) /reload the game have fun.
Having the same problem as NTENSS, prot pally, but has the coloring for DPS. please help. Thank you
Something broke with the 7.1.5 update. It thinks Blood is supposed to be a DPS role and I cannot find an option to change that.
Thanks for the great addon!
i get this a lot in a group, while in tank mode:

How can I adjust the clickable area for nameplates? Right now it is too narrow using Threat Plates' defaults.
I think it's great and I've been doing a lot of customization with threat colors and sizes and have it just the way I want it. Unfortunately, in Suramar City, I can't see the glow lights above the heads of the guards who break the disguise. This makes questing in Suramar City very difficult and I have to turn off name plates when I'm in there. How difficult would it be to do something about this?
Hey IceEagle.
Can you extend the number of Custom Nameplates we can have? Atm it's 80. Can we get 200?
The curseforge packager has some issues with multi-line localization phrases. v1.27 should work fine.
Latest version isn't working mate :(
i second this :(
Hey IceEagle. You've been by far the most helpful person in Legion.
Can you give me any advice on how I can just show "important" npc nameplates (vendors, flight masters etc)?
