Migrating settings
If you have the settings from the old Threat Plates addon you can go in \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<account_name>\SavedVariables and make a copy of TidyPlates_ThreatPlates.lua with the name TidyPlates_Threat.lua. Then open the newly created file with a text editor and on the second row replace the name with TidyPlatesThreatDB.
I love the text only style for friendly players. Anyways. I use "Enable blizzard 'On-Target' Fading. I think it's a must have. Is there a possible way to still have friendly targets headline view show at full opacity?
http://imgur.com/a/vEQnU <-- Here you can see I can't see my friendly players name text very well.
Also would be nice feature to be able to add optional subtext under the name. Like NPC Role, Guild, or Level.
These options are under Text Only Style in v1.15
Thanks man. trying it out now. looks really good:)
Is it a standalone project, or part of TidyPlates as it used to be?
I see at least 3 projects with the name of Tidy Plates managed by different people, it's confusing.
TidyPlates is the main nameplates addon. It allows for custom made plugins called themes. TidyPlates comes with some default themes like Quatre, Neon. This addon is another theme for TidyPlates.
Hey there,
First of all, let me just say how HAPPY I am to see this addon back, thank you!
I just downloaded ThreatPlates (8005_Alpha) and the TidyPlates (6_18 Beta 20). The problem that I'm having is that when I try to choose ThreatPlates as the TidyPlates theme, I get an LUA error that constantly counts up and will not go away, even if I reload my UI. The only way to stop it is log out of the game and disable ThreatPlates. If I just try to log back into the game with ThreatPlates still enabled, I get the same counting-up LUA error window.
Here is a image of the error. The "count" is what keeps counting up at an incredibly fast rate, to the point where WoW says I have to disable addons.
I hope you can help because I was so excited to see this addon back and now that it is, am sad it's not working for me!
Thanks in advance,
Herrm
You're talking about a different addon. Probably the one Radoznali linked below.
Bug report : the raid markers are buggy when in a party/raid. Colors and markers won't change, and sometimes another bug occurs, the nameplate itself disappear. When you leave the party, it solves the problem.
Thanks for your work,
Best regards
I've done some testing with one other guy in party at the training dummy and it seems to work fine.
The management system is in TidyPlates, I'm only giving it the icon texture, size, position. It seems a bit slow to respond to the change of raid icons, but I'm not in direct control of that.

Hey there, any way to turn off the debuffs above the nameplates? Hunting around futilely...
Widgets tab -> Aura widget
Legend, thank you for that!! Thanks so much for getting this back up and running, was really missing it :(
Nvm :D
Auras icons don't follow nameplate's frame strata. eg. https://postimg.org/image/g3tjw1u6f/
In this screenshot I would expect the aura icons of my target to be on top of the non-target nameplates. I would also expect the aura icons to follow mouse-over highlights.
A request: Is there a way to make the nameplates that clamp on top of the screen to stack? I wouldn't be able to thank you enough if you would make that happen.
Thanks for the awesome add on.
please add the border back for auras. it looks terrible with no border.
It does have borders though. Atleast for me.
Borders are in the latest alpha version. Will be included in v1.10 release.
Having issues with the aura widget.
None of my debuffs are displaying on my frames. I've tried All (mine) and Blacklist (mine) with no filters, and Whitelist (mine) with some filters for testing purposes. I'm not getting a lua error. Using the most recent build of Tidyplates, and in fact the base themes show auras just fine.
Is there a way to transfer transfer a saved profile from the original Threat Plates (by Suicidal Katt) into this fork (so as to prevent needing to set everything up again)? If so, how is that done? I can't find the relevant profile file anywhere to transfer over.
