the savedvariables is reset as the structure of the db has changed mostly due to the removal of modules and their own db.
Does the new re-write preserve the existing savedvariables or reset? I assume reset, but curious (as others may be).
I'll check this for next release. I'm making good progress on it, there is so much changes in it that it's now a complete rewrite :)
The quest item macro seems to be broken. I alt-right click an item in the tracker to put it in the macro, but tomquest keeps putting the error message in chat and does not update the macro button.
If I then completely exit the game and restart, the macro displays correctly. The button will only update when exiting/restarting game, it won't update in game at all (not even by reloading the UI). Is this maybe a problem with Blizz storing macros server side now?
Tomquest2 is not displaying the Icecrown, Coldara, and Dalaran dailies. When I was doing the Netherwing dailies a few days ago those did not display a few times. I have tried versions 3.3 Release 3 through 3.3 Beta 5.
I will try tomQuest2-3.2_beta_32 next. If that one has the same problem I will have to use FuBar_QuestsFu along with Tomquest2 for the tracker part until the problem is resolved or goes away in a future release.
I had previously thought this was a random issue, but discovered 1 of my characters was still using Fubar_questsFu. That was the toon that had a working tracker for the areas in question.

I wasn't getting this error before (although it's been a LONG time since I resized my fonts), and I'm using the same addons I was before I changed things around. If you can help me out with this error, I'd be grateful. I can't read the quest tracker now. Font is too small for me. (Yes, I know I need new glasses.)
Thanks for any help you may offer.
jrkid : this should be corrected since r277
I have a hard time reading some of the level colors on the giver's panel.
Keep up the good work.
I like this mod.
autohide questlog in combat couldn't disable now :/
Here are the errors I recorded:
"tomQuest2-3.3 release 3\\syncParty.lua:237: attempt to perform arithmetic on field 'maxXP' (a nil value)\ntomQuest2-3.3 release 3\\syncParty.lua:486: in function `onCommand'\ntomQuest2-3.3 release 3\\syncParty.lua:478: in function `?'\nCallbackHandler-1.0-5:146: in function <...ist\\libs\\CallbackHandler-1.0\\CallbackHandler-1.0.lua:146>\n<string>:\"safecall Dispatcher[4]\":4: in function <[string \"safecall Dispatcher[4]\"]:4>\n<in C code>: ?\n<string>:\"safecall Dispatcher[4]\":13: in function `?'\nCallbackHandler-1.0-5:91: in function `Fire'\nAceComm-3.0-6 (DataStore):268: in function <...ce\\AddOns\\DataStore\\libs\\AceComm-3.0\\AceComm-3.0.lua:257>\n\n ---",
The Datastore have something to do with Altoholic. I don't know if there is a mismatch between them since I didn't got the time to test it enough. But I thought it was better to tell you anyway.
before this release which one were you and your friends using?
I'll check this error but it's quite strange as nothing has changed in this module since a few release so it might be a problem with WOW 3.3 that I did not detect. I'll try to test syncing.
Also there is no problem with datastore it's just that AceComm is first loaded by Datastore that you see it mentioned in the error log
We all have used the latest version available using the curse client and that was the case Wednesday too. According to the error message it should have been 3.3 release 3
The difference this time though was that 4 of us have used UberQuest and it's quest tracker before but since that addon don't work with 3.3 we all started using all of tomquest2 including the questtracker module.
Therefor I can not say if this has been a problem earlier when using tomquest2's questtracker but it surely was this time.
I have also noticed when I have played solo the last days that as with the party some of the quests don't end up in the tracker not even if I manually try and re-add them. Unfortunately i don't get any error in bugsack when this happens so I can't give you any error data.
Sometimes quests, especially dailies, do not drop off the tracker when changing zones even though the new area has nothing to do with the quest. I have it set to display the daily quests in the regular quest tracker. Also have the daily tracker module turned off.
I get no UI errors so can't provide anything other than letting you know what is visually happening.
Twice it has not picked up the Netherwing dailies.
When I say pick up I'm referring to both displaying quests already in the log when I enter the area (including logging into the game) and when I acquire them.
I'm currently completly rewriting from scratch quests and achievements trackers I'll look at this issue at the same time
