You need criticism to make a good product. Pazza makes the mod, but we perfect it. What the community wants should get if possible. It's about making the WoW players happy with the mod or else don't share it at all. Nobody is putting him down or the mod. Wim is one of the greatest mods out there. Without Pazza's idea, we'd be missing a lot of messages during raids. :)

I agree with you, as long as it concerns bugs, errors and such. But it is an totally different story if someone complains about Style- or Design-stuff.

You just can't set it for everybody straight. There are ever ppl out there which don't like this and that on a Design.

I have a nice aphorism for this: "Make it work. Make it right. Make it beautiful. Make it fast." - think about it. ^^

Are you guys serious?! If you don't like the new WIM then just DON'T USE it you ret*rds.

And, StrangeWill, in what Century do you live? Bandwidth? Drive Space? You've got to be kidding me, right? This HAS to be a joke.

If the work of others don't fit your expectations, try it on your own, lets see what you're capable of. But, the hell, leave him alone, Pazza did a great job so far. I'm using WIM because without it the whispers and such are far more annoying than the new style of WIM ever could.

So, Pazza, you did a great job until now, you have my gratitude for this. :-)

WIM has to be one of the greatest mods out there, as a GM of a pretty large guild I'd die without it. Thank you for all your work on this one!

I do miss tabbed windows though, hopefully that will be returning soon. : )

Whenever I minimize windows (which I have to do in order to function) my WoW fatal errors. Every time. I really rely on this addon to save me from going crazy with whisper spam...and not being able to minimize the window makes me have to run without it. Is there a way to fix this?

I know someone already said it...but is there a way to make it so when a window pops up, it doesn't automatically make us type there? I'll be halfway through a sentence to the guild, or another user, and then I'll end up sending the second half of the message to someone new.

Also....PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD bring back tabbed windows.

If you open the history then you can see logs from every one of your alts, its on the upper left corner a pull down menu ;)

I used to be able to view the preview of my combined history in the WIM window though... and not by what character it was on... so basically I could read all of my characters past whispers with a single person in my window and in my history..

I liked in the 2.4.3 version that we could read our chat history with people regardless of what alt we were on (in the actual whisper window). Please bring that back :( I have a lot of characters so this was really useful for me. Also...I have no idea how to even access my chat history with people anymore. Like in the last version there was a list of players that I'd chatted with and I could view the whole saved history in a popup.

I wanted to add in my 2 cents worth of thanks for bringing this addon into the new patch, I would hate to play without it. And I have read that tabbed browsing is coming back and can't wait for it either =)

I did want to leave a mention of an issue with WIM that you're prolly aware of but was curious if it was something that was fixable with an 'upcoming revision?' Right now, if I get a new whisper, WoW totally freezes up for a good 2-3 seconds. When I shift-drag cascaded windows to make the tabs appear, more often than not, while switching from one tab to the other, will also cause WoW to freeze up for 2-3 seconds. Lastly, sometimes when closing a tab (right clicking it) the game will once again freeze up for 2-3 seconds. Naturally this can make having multiple conversations extremely difficult. So I wanted to put that forward, in case it hadn't already been said, since I'm sure it can be fixed seeing as how WIM pre-patch was running smooth as a baby's bottom.

Oh, dunno if this was intentional or not, but did the strata of the WIM windows change? I keep my window in the bottom right corner more or less and pre-3.0 when I opened my bags, they would appear above WIM which was great, but now WIM seems to have a really high strata. Any chance a feature to select your own preferred strata could be added in? Or just having a really low one to begin with so it's under the bags?

Would love to see a change so that the user had to click the text area of a message in order to respond. Often I find myself walking and getting a message - by the time I let go of wasd the box is filled with letters that I have to backspace.

I used tabbed messages too, and miss that feature. Can it be re-implemented?
