World Quest Assistant
WQA helps you find world quest groups quickly and easily.
With just a couple of clicks, you can easily find and join a group, or create your own. When you are in proximity of a world quest, WQA will offer to find or create a group for you. One click of the button finds all open groups and another click will start applying to join them. Or, you can create your own group with a single click.
Key features:
- One-click support to find a group, create a new group, or join existing groups
- Keybinding support for full automation - just set the bind and then tap it to find or apply to groups, accept a group invite, create a new group, or leave a group after quest completion.
- Allows you to create a new group on demand - no waiting for group finder timeouts. Open up your quest to others without having to wait for a server jump.
- Allows you to prefer to connect to groups on your home realm, completely avoiding server jumps.
- Can leave groups automatically after a configurable delay on quest completion, or stay in the group with a keybind you set.
- Can find groups for quests by middle-clicking their icons on the map. Handy when you're sitting around waiting for that mob to spawn! Works with both the base UI and World Quest Tracker.
Is there any chance of providing a discrete "never show this quest" button on the pop-up for specific quests that you never want to group for. Some seem to be "gather only" and having a group don't have any effect on completion.
Oh ... AND I LOVE the new group ability. It's perfect for Oceanic servers where you could be pulled anywhere in the world if you just join groups .... and that means instant 300+ pings which never seem to stabilise when you get back to you home server. I use that ALL the time. I truly gives this addon the edge.

little feedback after 7.2.5 release
if the group is full there is a pop up with info that lfg stops.
but, if i kicked some afk guys or guys leaving group, i cant rejoin lfg to refuel group
next thing, if my quest is complete, pop asked to leave group and 2nd pop up asked to lfg for the finished quest

The world quest "Mud Mucking" is a lot faster in a group, and this addon doesn't seem to recognize that quest for some reason.
I believe you can find 'Mud Mucking' in quest.lua, and remove that line.
I seem to randomly get delisted all the time when I choose to form a new group for world quests (before it fills). I'm not sure what causes it, but it is pretty consistent, and then I'm unable to recreate a new group through the addon.
The delist is actually from people joining who are in another queue like LFR. Its annoying when forming raids or other content for this.
Try this macro to recreate a new group when this happens:
/run WQA:CreateQuestGroup()
Has anyone else been having a problem with a group for 5-player world quests being auto-delisted?

Well that's annoying. Leaders changing a party for a regular quest to a raid wasn't a particular problem, and it's also affecting when forming a raid for a relevant world quest. =/
Any way that the addon can force a group creation under Custom, see if it can get around the stupid change?
So maybe it would be helpful to make the 'create group' visible again in addition to the existing 'X' once there are less than 5 people in the group (or a 'relist group' button).
I guess that Blizzard would find an other way to block groups when switching group creation into Custom rubric :-/.

why doesn't this addon work anymore for the "Mud Mucking" world quest on the broken shore?

why do i join grps on pvp servers when i have the box unchecked?
It's been a problem since at least 7.2. with its hit and miss. I doubt anything can be done.
Can you add the idle timer and distance check to settings we can change/set inside the UI? Some of us might want larger distance or longer idle timers.
When doing two world quests that overlap in an area and both are completed simultaneously, the addon outputs into chat a duplicate line.
For example: Aggressive Reconnaisance & Left for Dead at Felsoul Hold in Suramar.
I joined a group for the latter, and it ended up such that I had the former at 96% progress while I only needed one more prisoner freed for the latter. Freeing the prisoners also counts towards Aggressive Reconnaisance, which is how I wound up completing both simultaneously.
When that happened, I had this show up in party chat:
Seems fairly minor, but I thought I should bring it up.
Edit: I was able to replicate this on a different character as well.
