how do I set the aio settings to default vaulue. I changed some of the cvar things and floating combat text. and I cant remember what the default settings were. is there a way to reset everything? I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled and its still not at the default
I am looking to change my floating combat text back to the pre-mop era(I really dislike the way the current combat text floats). There was an option until pre-patch which let you switch back to the legacy combat text but that option was pruned.
If you don't know what I'm talking about here is a good example: . I have already tried using AdvancedInterfaceOptions addon but it does not have that option.
This is the way you were able to do it before pre-patch:
I really appreciate if you could help me, if not thanks anyway for taking the time to read this.:)

Traditional mode (changed from CombatDamageStyle to floatingCombatTextCombatDamageStyle) is deprecated in Legion with the rework, it has no effect anymore; you can try it out yourself, nothing will change

To start great mod helped me to fix my auto quest tracking, but now i seem to be auto accepting quest and can not seem to find the option to turn it off any help would be great.
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, or if I'm doing something incorrectly... But I'm having an issue that's driving me crazy.
Essentially, I want enemy nameplates to be displayed all the time (even outside of combat), while having friendly nameplates never displayed. However, this only functions perfectly on two of my characters and I can't figure out why.
On my characters that are fine, there are 3 notable CVar settings: nameplateShowAll (1), nameplateShowEnemies (1), and nameplateShowFriends (0). When I try to replicate this on other characters, the nameplateShowFriends value always resets to 1 upon relogging or reloading and I need to disable the nameplates again. Is there any way to prevent this, or maybe some file for AIO I can copy for my other toons? Maybe there's another variable I am missing?

No idea why that would be happening, the nameplateShowFriends cvar doesn't seem to reset to 1 upon relogging or reolading for me
Those cvars are character-specific though, you would have to set them on all respective toons
Maybe in the future AIO will optionally support setting character-specific cvars to be account-wide if that helps with cvars resetting back
Alright. I will keep trying and see if anything changes.
Really appreciate your response though, so thank you very much for your time!
Edit: After a lot of trial and error, I discovered it was a conflict with SCT-Damage and not an issue with AIO at all. Although I use it exclusively for interrupt notifications, the option to anchor text to nameplates seems override the AIO options. I am not sure why it would enable friendly nameplates, since it is only used on hostile ones but... That was definitely the problem.
This is a Blizzard bug that will be fixed in patch 7.1
AIO sets and gets that cvar (without overriding it from the SavedVariables), and prevents that cvar getting clamped/reset back to 1.9
So if the addon isn't loaded on one of your other characters, this problem happens :(
Thanks for your reply!
Guess it's an easy fix for now.

The CVar Browser should show you the default values in the tooltip and also as a white instead of red color
As a last resort you can delete your Config.wtf or use this command to reset all cvars to default:

cameraDistanceMaxFactor returns nil on PTR, commented out all 3 lines using it to have the addon working again.
The camera has been reworked on the PTR, that cvar is renamed to cameraDistanceMaxZoomFactor
after attempting to change a value,
2x Couldn't find CVar named 'Sound_EnableSoftwareHRTF'

Ow, that cvar was renamed to Sound_EnablePositionalLowPassFilter which should also be somewhere in that list
You can also change it in the Blizzard Sound options with the "Distance Filtering" option, fwiw
(Edit) This entry should be removed in the next alpha
ah ok :) , might be worth removing that entry in next version to forgo other issue's like this ;)
Settings like "Reduced Input Lag" doesn't save. When I turn on Reduced Input Lag and reload or relog, it turns off.
Thanks, this should be fixed in the next alpha I think
For me it doesnt save anything, and i dont know why
Me either. The only thing I really use it for is to set the targeting back to pre-Legion and I have to do it every time I log. :(

You have another addon that's doing that.
