Plus many other options available through the built-in CVar browser, including some that have never been exposed by Blizzard, such as "violence level" and "nameplate distance"!
Type /aio for the main menu or /cvar to open the CVar browser directly
I'm sure Blizzard was made aware by the tip being spread everywhere, and disabled it because it doesn't match their intention with Classic (even though in my personal opinion, the 20-yard nameplate restriction was not a good aspect of vanilla then and not a good limitation now).
Ah well I guess I'll have to keep taking my pills so that I don't keep getting too surprised when surrounded by mobs that just seem to materialise from nowhere ;-)
In Classic, if you check "Healing" and "Shields" for the Targets floating combat text it doesn't save that. Next time you go to /aio settings it will be deselected again.
I express my gratitude for your work! Your mod has made it easier for me to manage hidden settings, such as reverse inventory sorting and easy turning on and off the display of LUA errors.
I wish you further success and really hope to see the modification work on the classic version of the game. Thank!
Can this addon save all interface options (so, also the ones in Blizzards ui) and apply them to all characters or does it do this by default? Like profiles?

This has been working well for me until I logged in tonight. All of a sudden these commands do not work. Anyone else having this issue ?

They hot fixed it last night cause some "Alarmist" posted it on blizzards twitter feed.
Any chance of finding a new work around?

Did u solved this problem?
In reply to Forge_User_95083404:
Same problem I'm having. Hoping it gets updated soon
In reply to Forge_User_95083404:
I am also having this same issue. Healing and Shield settings do not save after checkboxing them.
In reply to Forge_User_95083404:
Unfortunately it looks like these options were removed from Classic.
If you notice any other settings that don't work in Classic, please list them here!

How does the "Fade Map When Moving" setting is supposed to work ?
Option selected, my character is moving with map opened but it's not fading...
In classic, nameplate distance doesn't seem to do anything. It defaults to 20, I update to 40, hit okay, then it reverts back to 20.

SAMEEEEE
In reply to gaviin1242:
20 yards is the max nameplate distance in classic.
In reply to gaviin1242:
Distance 30 yards
/run SetCVar("nameplateMaxDistance", "3e1")
Distance 40 yards
/run SetCVar("nameplateMaxDistance", "4e1")
Distance 45 yards
/run SetCVar("nameplateMaxDistance", "4.5e1")
Distance 50 yards
/run SetCVar("nameplateMaxDistance", "5e1")
